Clinical psychology is an applied field of psychology which is basically the integration of science, theory and clinical knowledge for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically-based distress to promote subjective well-being and personal development. Clinical Psychology is focused on the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mental disorders. Clinical psychologists work with clients of all ages on a variety of different mental or physical health problems.
The work of clinicians are basically focused on mental health which encompasses both psychotherapy and facilitation of training.
Clinical psychologist Mahjareen is a trained CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) therapist with more than five years of clinical experience with both adult and child. She is also practicing family therapy, couple therapy and crisis intervention. Mahjareen has also training on systemic family therapy, creative therapy, basic neurological assessment and CPM-MH (Crisis preparedness and management).
