নির্ভেজাল মানবিকতা ও সমাজসেবার এক উজ্জ্বল দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করলেন লন্ডনপ্রবাসী মহিয়সী নারী মাহমুদুন নিসা চৌধুরী — যিনি বাংলাদেশের বিশিষ্ট রাজনীতিবিদ ও সমাজসেবক আমীর খসরু মাহমুদ চৌধুরী-এর দ্বিতীয় বড় বোন।

সম্প্রতি দেশে ফিরে তিনি চট্টগ্রাম কিডনি ফাউন্ডেশন হাসপাতালের জন্য ১০ লাখ টাকার অনুদান প্রদান করেছেন একটি ডায়ালাইসিস মেশিন ক্রয়ের উদ্দেশ্যে, যা ক্রমবর্ধমান রোগীর চাহিদা পূরণে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সহায়তা প্রদান করবে। এই অনুদান মূলত সমাজের দরিদ্র ও সুবিধাবঞ্চিত কিডনি রোগীদের চিকিৎসা সেবা নিশ্চিত করার লক্ষ্যেই প্রদান করা হয়েছে।

তারই ছোট ভাই আমীর হুমায়ুন মাহমুদ চৌধুরী, ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট, ৫ জানুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে চেকটি ফাউন্ডেশনের সভাপতি ডা. মঈনুল ইসলাম মাহমুদ ও সাধারণ সম্পাদক ইঞ্জিনিয়ার কামালুর রহমান-এর হাতে তুলে দেন।

ফাউন্ডেশনের পক্ষ থেকে সভাপতি মহোদয় এই মহৎ উদ্যোগের জন্য শ্রদ্ধাভাজন বোনকে আন্তরিক ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানান এবং তার ইচ্ছানুযায়ী অর্থের যথাযথ ব্যবহার নিশ্চিত করবেন বলে আশ্বাস দেন।

বিদেশ থেকে ভালোবাসার হাতছানি – ডালাস প্রবাসী মোহি দীন ভাইকে জানাই আন্তরিক কৃতজ্ঞতা

গত ২০ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫, আমাদের কলেজ বন্ধু ও প্রবাসী শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী মোহি দীন (ডালাস, ইউএসএ) চট্টগ্রাম কিডনি ফাউন্ডেশন হাসপাতাল পরিদর্শন করেন।

সফরকালে জেনারেল সেক্রেটারি ইঞ্জিনিয়ার কামালুর রহমান, জয়েন্ট সেক্রেটারি এমদাদুল আজিজ চৌধুরী ও রেজওয়ান শাহিদী তাকে CKF-এর ডায়ালাইসিস ইউনিট-১ ও ২ এবং নতুনভাবে স্থাপিত মডুলার অপারেশন থিয়েটার ঘুরিয়ে দেখান। তিনি সরাসরি ডায়ালাইসিস রোগীদের সঙ্গে কথা বলেন এবং তাদের চিকিৎসাসেবা দেখে অভিভূত হন।

মানবতার সেবায় CKF-এর ভূমিকা দেখে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়ে, তিনি টাকা ১,০০,০০০ (এক লক্ষ) দান করেন এবং ভবিষ্যতেও এই মানবিক সহায়তা অব্যাহত রাখার ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করেন।

Chattogram Kidney Foundation Hospital at Rotary Free Medical Camp 2025

In response to a kind request from respected social worker Mr. Abdul Mintu, currently visiting from Australia, the Executive Committee of Chattogram Kidney Foundation Hospital (CKF) gladly agreed to participate in the Rotary Free Medical Camp 2025, held on 19th December 2025 at Chandgaon Siddiq Ahmed Al-Tafia Hafizia Madrasa & Orphanage, Chattogram.

Our participation aimed to raise mass awareness on kidney health and to highlight CKF’s commitment to providing 24/7 dialysis services at an affordable cost, especially for financially challenged patients. We proudly informed the public that CKF accepts Zakat and donations to offer subsidized and even free dialysis for the underprivileged.

As part of the camp, CKF set up a Kidney Awareness Booth where our team offered:
• Free consultation on kidney-related health issues
• Educational leaflets on dialysis services, preventive care, and CKF’s overall facilities
• Information on how individuals and institutions can support poor patients through contributions

The camp, organized with the active involvement of 28 Rotary Clubs of Chattogram, saw an overwhelming turnout from early morning due to wide publicity. CKF was proud to be part of such a collaborative initiative.

We appreciate the efforts of all organizing Rotary clubs, especially Rotary Club of Chittagong Midtown, whose Dental & Oral Health Booth led by Rtn. Dr. Didarul Alam saw significant public engagement.

আজ সকাল ১১:৩০টায় স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা নূরজাহান বেগম চট্টগ্রাম কিডনি ফাউন্ডেশন (CKF) হাসপাতাল পরিদর্শন করেন।

পরিদর্শনকালে তিনি হাসপাতালের ডায়ালাইসিস ইউনিট, কনসালটেশন সেকশন, প্যাথলজি ল্যাব ও সদ্য নির্মিত মডুলার অপারেশন থিয়েটার কমপ্লেক্স ঘুরে দেখেন এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট চিকিৎসক ও কর্মকর্তাদের সঙ্গে মতবিনিময় করেন।

মাননীয় উপদেষ্টা কিডনি রোগীদের চিকিৎসা সেবায় CKF-এর অবদানকে সাধুবাদ জানান এবং এ ধরনের মানবিক কার্যক্রমে সকলকে এগিয়ে আসার আহ্বান জানান। তিনি বিনয়ের সঙ্গে ফুল বা কোনো আনুষ্ঠানিক সংবর্ধনা গ্রহণ না করে সরলতায় হাসপাতাল পরিদর্শন সম্পন্ন করেন।

পরিদর্শন শেষে তিনি ফাউন্ডেশনের ভবিষ্যৎ উন্নয়ন পরিকল্পনা সম্পর্কে খোঁজ নেন এবং সর্বাত্মক সহযোগিতার আশ্বাস দেন।

১৬ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৫, মহান বিজয় দিবস উপলক্ষে চট্টগ্রাম কিডনি ফাউন্ডেশন হাসপাতাল তার পূর্ববর্তী চর্চা অনুযায়ী জাতীয় ছুটির দিনেও খোলা রাখা হয় জরুরি কিডনি রোগীদের ডায়ালাইসিস সেবা নিশ্চিত করতে।

ডায়ালাইসিস ইউনিট-১ ও ইউনিট-২ চালু রেখে অত্যাবশ্যকীয় রোগীদের সেবা প্রদান করা হয়, যাতে তারা নিয়মিত চিকিৎসা থেকে বঞ্চিত না হন। রোগীদের সেবায় নিয়োজিত চিকিৎসক, নার্স, টেকনিশিয়ানসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট সবার আন্তরিকতা ও দায়িত্বশীলতাকে উৎসাহিত করতে হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ বিশেষ মধ্যাহ্নভোজের আয়োজন করে।

এছাড়াও হাসপাতাল পরিবার একসাথে উপভোগ করে একটি অনুপ্রেরণামূলক ও আনন্দঘন পরিবেশ, যা দিনটিকে করে তোলে আরও স্মরণীয়।

এই দিনটিতে রোগীসেবার প্রতি আমাদের অবিচল অঙ্গীকারই ছিল বিজয়ের চেতনার বাস্তব প্রতিফলন।

Inner Wheel Club of Agrabad Extends Support to Chattogram Kidney Foundation

On 7 December 2025, a distinguished delegation from Inner Wheel District 345 and the Inner Wheel Club of Agrabad visited the Chattogram Kidney Foundation (CKF) to extend their continued humanitarian support.

The formal meeting was conducted at the CKF premises, where guests were welcomed and given a brief overview of CKF’s ongoing activities, including its expanding dialysis services and the progress of the two newly established Advanced Modular Operation Theaters (OTs). CKF Executive Committee members were introduced to the visiting guests, followed by introductions of the Inner Wheel delegation by IWC Agrabad President Akhter Banu Fancy.

CKF President Dr. Moinul Islam Mahmud delivered the welcome address. Following this, PNR Sharmin Hossain shared her reflections on CKF’s humanitarian initiatives over the past two decades and expressed appreciation for the remarkable developments she witnessed.

District Chairman Mushayela Karim praised CKF for its impactful services to kidney patients and conveyed her satisfaction in fulfilling a meaningful humanitarian project through the Inner Wheel platform.

During the session, General Secretary Engr. Kamalur Rahman expressed heartfelt gratitude and thanked the Inner Wheel Club of Agrabad and District 345 for their consistent contributions and unwavering support toward CKF’s humanitarian mission.
