Your worth does not equal the way people treat you. A gem is a gem whether you put it in mud or on a pedestal. Just make sure you don't keep yourself in the mud for too long trying to change it to gold.

What you want is somewhere out there.
You can't heal while you're still drinking the same poison. Move to a place that serves love, acceptance and respect.

It is never too late to start choosing yourself. Do it through action, not just words.

You wouldn't know what you know without going through what you went through. Stop wishing it away. You can never be okay with it and still move on from it.

5.

You can't change someone. So stop trying. Put that energy towards changing yourself for the better.

I've been researching the mind for a very long time. I used to believe that emotions are temporary; I used to believe that emotions are a choice; and I used to believe that we have the power to control them. The moment I realized that none of these beliefs were true is when things began to change for me.

One of the things that I've found was that it was my resistance to my inability to control my emotions, that kept me a slave to my emotions. The moment I decided to unconditionally accept my inability to control them, my relationship with my emotions began to change; and that's when I started to dissolve my emotions, and heal the emotional wounds within.
