📜 An act of kindness is an action designed to make the world a kinder place. A kind act is a good deed done to show compassion and love for another person, without any expectation of getting anything in return. It helps others feel good, instead of bad. It improves wellbeing, rather than diminishing it. It costs nothing but can be priceless.

মানুষের গোপনীয়তাকে সম্মান করুন। —তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবেন না কেন তারা এখনও বিয়ে করেননি, যখন তারা একটি সন্তানের জন্ম দিতে যাচ্ছেন, কেন তারা বিচ্ছেদ বা বিবাহবিচ্ছেদ হয়েছে, কেন তারা তাদের চাকরি ছেড়েছেন, কেন তারা একা সিনেমা দেখতে পছন্দ করেন, কেন তারা কারো দুঃখের কথা শুনে কাঁদেন? গল্প, কেন তারা বেশি বের হয় না।

আসুন অন্য লোকেদের অনুভূতি বিবেচনা না করে তাদের গোপনীয়তা আক্রমণ করাকে স্বাভাবিক না করি।

আমাদের যা দরকার তা হল তাদের সম্মান করা এবং বোঝার চেষ্টা করা এবং তাদের দুঃখের উপর তাদের নিজস্ব নিরাময়ের প্রক্রিয়াটি করতে দেওয়া।

লোকেদের কথা বলতে বাধ্য করবেন না যদি না তারা সেই ব্যক্তি হয় যারা এগিয়ে আসে। তাদের সম্মান এবং বোঝার প্রয়োজন এবং সাহসী হতে এবং কঠোর হতে হয় তা বুঝতে সাহায্য করার জন্য আমরা অন্তত এটি করতে পারি।
