So we just went to Mokja , a humble Sushi place at the warm and welcoming Dhaka Food Court. We were excited to try them for a while now, and boy was it worth it!

We had the
Platter 2 - 700Tk
Noodles - 300Tk
Chicken Rice - 300Tk

The sushi platter was not bad, but we loved the torched crab sushi the most! Our least favourite was the Volcano Roll.
The glass noodles looked incredible and tasted amazing too! Be warned though, the texture is a bit chewy, so if you’re not into that, you might not enjoy this as much!
Finally, our favourite dish was the Teriyaki rice bowl which was INCREDIBLE! Mouthwatering, Perfectly seasoned, and the chicken won our hearts! Overall, Mokja is truly a budget friendly place to eat for those who love Korean cuisine.

We are literal fans of "Secret Recipe", specially when it comes to their desserts and coffee. One fine day, me and my friends went to their new Elephant road Branch for breakfast and let me tell you all our bittersweet experience. 🌚🌚
1. 🧇🍞🍳🥓Wholesome Breakfast: It covers bread, eggs (however you prefer, we chose scrambled), grilled tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, grilled sausages, bacon, beans, and toast with jam and butter.
Price: Around 600 BDT.
2. 🥚 Egg Benedict: Well balanced Benedict sauce poured on soft crusted bread and eggs, additional items were bacon, mushroom, and hash brown.
Price: Around 700 BDT.

Tea - So they were supposed to give us hash browns, but just because they didn't have hash brown, they put wages on our plate without even asking. When we called the waiter and talked to the manager about it, they replaced the wages with sausage, which were severely undercooked and they had to cook them again for us to pass it through out throat.
3. 🥣 Cream of Mushroom soup: The worst mushroom soup I have tried on my life. I did not taste nothing but rice water (bhaater maar) like liquid, It hardly had any mushrooms and there was no salt or spice.
Price: 230 BDT

[I feel like their Elephant road branch is new and the service is also not properly instructed/trained as it should have been, all the staff seemed poorly experienced to me. They even were having hard time to give us to both separate bills. However, for all their mistakes, 2 complimentary americano was provided to us but yeah, I am still complaining. Hopefully a better service and FOOD next time]

Yum Cha District has always been our favourite place for Sunday dinner. Both of us have very weird work time and schedule and Sunday night is the only time we manage to have dinner-out together, and our go to place is Yumcha. Here is some of the dishes we tried this Sunday!
1. Wonton chilli oil 🤌🤌- My most favourite Yumcha food. The sweet and hot sauce/gravy over the soft wontons never fails my expectation.
2. BBQ rice bowl - Well balanced sweet and savory chicken breast pieces with perfectly cooked and seasoned rice. The dish is quite underrated in Yumcha. But I highly recommend it. Rating: 9/10.
3. YCD special Naga rice bowl - I will never not have it whenever I am at Yumcha. But my spice tolerance is less than anything though I am a huge fan of spice, so couldn't finish the whole dish. But I had a good nextflix time with the leftover parcel at home. 😁 🤸🏼‍♀️

It's hard to notice and coffee shops when there's a Crimson Cup right underneath, but Prezzie is an underrated cafe which deserves more love and attention. It has some of the best desserts, a healthy customizable meal buffet and some top-notch coffee. A must visit for anyone who loves a cozy cafe with good food and drinks.

A noodley breakfast at the 'Food Hall’ at Bashundhara RA.

The Food Hall was a homely place with friendly service and mouthwatering food. We had ordered a bunch of dishes, but among them, these two noodles were the showstoppers.

1. Chef special chicken noodles
The noodle was packed with a unique saucy flavor that we had never tasted before. The chicken fillet was also properly cooked and drenched with the same special sauce. And lastly, the sunny-side-up egg brought a very comforting umami taste. 🍳🍝
Rating: 9/10.

2. Pad Thai
As a Pad Thai lover, this is one of the best Pad Thai we have tasted in BD. The noodle was served with peanut crumble and chili flakes. A must-try dish for spice lovers. 👌🏻 💯🍝
Rating: 9.5/10.
The price of both the dishes were around 400-500BDT. We also ordered their "Cream of Mushroom Soup". That was also top notch and my all time favourite. 😋🤸🏼‍♀️ 💯 👌🏻

Bubble is located at the Urban Void food court at Bashundhara RA, and although their food is tasty and straightforward, their offers are quite interesting.

1) 1KG Chicken Leg:
Price: Tk. 699
Rating: 10/10

It's true children, the leg piece is truly the best cut. And the flavors work to add more value to this offer. We got about 9 pieces which we had no issue finishing. It was that good.

2) Nasi Ayam:
Price: Tk. 320
Rating: 8/10

Set Menus are rarely seen as a comfort dish, but the Nasi Ayam was seasoned, packed with flavors and with a generous amount of chicken.

Overall, if I am planning to visit Urban Void with a few friends, Bubble will surely be on my list of top picks!

Pinewood is an aesthetic restaurant located in a few places, from which we went to the Dhanmondi 6 branch. The branch is beautifully decorated, and the ambiance is very friendly and even works well for that special day date. We were invited to Pinewood to try their food, including a special new item. Here are the dishes we tasted:
1) Fish cake.
Rating: 8/10
This appetizer was quite filling and had decent taste, which you would expect from a fish appetizer. The batter coated and pan fried fish cake was so soft and well balanced with the refreshing cabbage salad that it can be a good start to your dinner or lunch. Even though the dish is a bit under rated in pinewood, but any seafood lover must give it a try. I am sure this will not be your last time.

2) Set Menu 5: Beef Teriyaki, 2 Chicken Shashlik, Mixed Veggies with Rice
Rating: 9/10
The set menu was tasty, with proportions plenty for one. The Beef was incredibly well-seasoned, with spicy flavors working perfectly with the rice and veggies. The Shashlik worked well on its own, finger food with saucy chicken and veggies barbequed to perfection. 🍱💯

3) Fish Steak: Deep Fried Dori, Butter-Glazed Coral Fish, Hash Browns & Veggies.
Rating: 7/10
The fish steak dish was a pleasant surprise, especially as one of us isn’t actually a fan of fish dishes. The hash browns were soft and tasted incredible. The Deep Fried Dori was the dish’s star, while the butter-glazed coral fish wasn’t really our cup of tea. 🐟🐠

4) The Mushroom Soup:
Rating: 10/10
It is a fan favorite for us, as we first fell in love with Pinewood due to its creamy texture and savory taste. The soup never fails to warm our hearts whenever we order it. Not too thick, not too thin. 🥘💯👌🏻

5) Caesar Salad:
Rating: 8/10
For those looking to eat healthily, this dish is perfect to have for lunch. The proportions are fulfilling, and with its pairing sauce, you will surely enjoy every bite for its taste as you eat healthy. 🥗🧘💪

6) Mango Lassi & Mojito
Rating: 12/10
We usually order the Mojito, but, boy was the Mango Lassi amazing. We can see us coming again to Pinewood JUST for a cup of this mouthwatering, sweet and cool mango lassi. 🍹🍹

Out of all the cookies we’ve tried, we would surely say Bellaria Foods cookies are top-tier. Their cookies are made with natural butter, not the synthetic margarine you often find in cookies. The two souls of KhaonDaon fell in love at the Cha N Chill, sharing the old 13 piece Shingara bundles and cups of Lebu Punch. The freshly served Shingaras gave us a lot of burns (as we were too busy focusing on each other 🤣).

A few days back, we were invited to that very branch (Salimullah Road) to review. Needless to say, we won't dare put numbers to describe what the shingaras mean to us, but we will just say you never fall in love and get engaged if the food isnt warm, loving and welcoming.

Must have food. ❤️

The Birdman Chikin just sent me some scrumptious snacks for me to enjoy at the office. Needless to say, my colleagues also got in a bite, and this is what we all had to say.

The burgers were tasty, as the Seoul Spicy Beogeo's patty was well seasoned and had a munchy texture, and the Chikin Deluxe Beogeo patty was a good ol' crunchy & crispy fried chicken.

The fried 'chikins' stole the show, as each of them boasted unique tastes, textures, and colors, and was as appetizing to eat, as it was visually too. Crispy, saucy, cheesy, and soft; these mouthwatering quadruplets had it all!

We grabbed a bite at Kiva Han Gulshan a few days back. It was a lunch date that ended up being a delicious discovery.

Kiva Han's Zen Hen Burger!
Rating 8/10
Price: Tk. 290

The thing we loved about the burger was that the bun was grilled, giving it a tough outer texture and a soft squishy interior. The patty was plain and juicy, nothing fancy but incredibly tasty. The sauces were humble, yet plentiful. The entire experience was wholesome, as we didn't begin with high hopes for the burger to begin with.

We just visited Fatty Bun and had some of their food. The venue was well decorated and there were plenty of places where you could easily take a good snap!

As for the food, the burgers we had were juicy and cheesy, and the bun was unique- thick and soft, while the crust was firm. The burgers were saucy and the patties were well seasoned. The fries were cheesy and packed with sausage strips that added to the overall flavor. The wings were tender and juicy, one drenched in sweetness and the other a classic version close to my heart.

Overall, I would give the whole experience an 8/10, and would surely love to visit again. Especially for those AMAZING burgers ❤️
