❓আপনার সন্তান হঠাৎ রেগে যায় বা চিৎকার করে, কিন্তু বুঝতে পারেন না কেন এমন হয়?

আসলে বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন শিশুদের প্রতিটি আচরণের পিছনে একটা কারণ (Cause) থাকে আর সেটিই বোঝার চাবিকাঠি হলো ABC Model of ABA 🔍

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐁𝐂 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐁𝐀?

𝐀𝐁𝐀 (𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬) -এর এই মডেলটি শিশুর আচরণ বুঝতে সাহায্য করে তিনটি ধাপে :

1️⃣ A – Antecedent (আগে কী ঘটলো)
➤ আচরণের আগে কোন পরিস্থিতি তৈরি হয়েছিল?
যেমন: “শিশু খেলনা না পেয়ে রেগে গেল।”

2️⃣ B – Behavior (আচরণ)
➤ ঠিক কী আচরণ করলো?
যেমন: “চিৎকার করা, বা কিছু ছুঁড়ে ফেলা।”

3️⃣ C – Consequence (ফলাফল)
➤ এরপর কী হলো?
যেমন: “পিতামাতা শান্ত করতে গিয়ে খেলনাটা দিয়ে দিলেন।

বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে এটা অত্যন্ত কার্যকর :

আপনি কি লক্ষ্য করেছেন, আপনার শিশু আপনার চোখের দিকে ঠিকভাবে তাকায় না?

অনেক সময় বাচ্চারা চোখে চোখ রেখে যোগাযোগ না করায়, অভিভাবকরা দুশ্চিন্তায় পড়ে যান। অথচ “Eye Contact” বা চোখের যোগাযোগ শিশুর ভাষা বিকাশ, সামাজিক মিথস্ক্রিয়া এবং মনোযোগ ধরে রাখার ক্ষেত্রে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করে।

কেন Eye Contact গুরুত্বপূর্ণ:

🧠 মস্তিষ্কের যোগাযোগ কেন্দ্র সক্রিয় হয়

🗣️ ভাষা বোঝা ও বলা দুইয়ের ক্ষেত্রেই সহায়তা করে

🤝 সামাজিক বন্ধন গড়ে তোলে ও সম্পর্ক গভীর করে

📌 শিশুর মনোযোগ ও শেখার আগ্রহ বাড়ায়

ছোট ছোট সময়ে ধীরে ধীরে এই অভ্যাস গড়ে তুলুন।

চোখের যোগাযোগ জোর করে নয়, আস্তে আস্তে অভ্যাসে পরিণত করা দরকার।
প্রতিদিন কিছুটা সময় এই অনুশীলন করলে শিশুর মধ্যে ইতিবাচক পরিবর্তন দেখা যায়
