সুমি আক্তারের সার্জারি হয় ২৮ ডিসেম্বর ২০২৪ তারিখে। উনি আমার সাথে ১ম দেখা করতে আসেন ৬ মে ২০২৪ এ। ১ম দেখা করার ৭ মাসের বেশি সময় পরে উনি ১৯ ডিসেম্বর আমাদের অফিসিয়াল নাম্বারে সার্জারীর ডেট বুক করার জন্য এসএমএস করেন। ডেট বুক করার সিস্টেম বলে দিলে উনি ৫০০০ টাকা বিকাশে পাঠিয়ে ডেট বুক করেন বাকি ১ লক্ষ ২০ হাজার টাকা উনি সার্জারির দিন পে করেন। তাকে টোটাল খরচ কত এডভান্স কত করেছেন কয় তারিখ সার্জারি সবকিছু লিখে এসএমএস করে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হয়। এছাড়াও তার ১ম সাক্ষাতের প্রেসক্রিপশন এ টোটাল খরচ কত লিখে দেওয়া আছে। সার্জারির দিন উনাকে নাক সার্জারির টোটাল খরচ ১ লাখ ২৫ হাজার টাকার রিসিট ও দেওয়া হয়।
উনি বলেছেন ৩ মাসে টাকা পে করে উনি সার্জারি করতে এসেছেন। ১৯ ডিসেম্বর থেকে সার্জারীর দিন ২৮ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত ৯ দিন হয় উনি আমাদের সাথে যোগাযোগ করেছেন। তাহলে উনি ৩ মাসে ১১ লক্ষ টাকা কিভাবে দিলেন?
১১ লক্ষ টাকা কেউ কোন ডকুমেন্টস ছাড়া এমনি দিয়ে দিবেন। আমাদের কোন সার্জারির খরচ কত এসএমএস করলে বা ফোন করলে বলে দেওয়া হয়।

উনি বলেছেন নাকে সিলিকন ইমপ্ল্যান্ট দেওয়া হয়েছে যা পুরোপুরি মিথ্যা কথা। উনার নাকে কোন সিলিকন ব্যাবহার করা হয়নি। কারণ এটা উনার চাহিদার মধ্যে ছিল না। যা একটা এক্সরে ,সিটিস্কেন বা এম আর আই করলেই দেখা যাবে। যদিও রাইনোপ্লাস্টিতে সিলিকন ইমপ্ল্যান্ট ব্যাবহার করা খুবই কমন ও সারাবিশ্বেই বেশ জনপ্রিয়। এবং সিলিকন সারাজীবন অবিকৃত অবস্থায় থাকে তাই সহজেই প্রমাণ করা যাবে।

উনি বলেছেন নাকের বাইরের দিকে অতিরিক্ত কেটে ফেলা হয়েছে। আমাদের কাছে উনার নাক সার্জারির আগের ও পরের ছবি আছে যেখানে নাকের বাইরের দিকে অতিরিক্ত কেটে ফেলার কোন অস্তিত্ব নেই (যেহেতু অনুমতি ছাড় এই ছবি প্রকাশ করা যাবে না তাই ছবি এখানে দিচ্ছি না )। এই কথাটাও মিথ্যা এবং ভিত্তিহীন। উনার কাছে অতিরিক্ত কেটে ফেলার কোন ছবি থাকলে দেখানোর অনুরোধ করছি।

রাইনোপ্লাস্টি সার্জারির পর ১ম কিছুদিন নাক শক্ত হয়ে থাকে এটা নরমাল এবং এটা কিছুদিন পর এমনি ঠিক হয়ে যায়। উনাকে মেসেজ করার এবং ইনজেকশন দেওয়ার উপদেশ দেওয়া হয়। কিন্তু উনি এটা শুনেন নি। উনাকে বার বার এটা বলেও বুঝানো যায়নি। উনি চেম্বারে এসে চিল্লাচিল্লি করতে থাকেন। উনাকে যে উপদেশ ই দেওয়া হয় উনি সেটা শুনতে নারাজ।

উনি বলতে থাকেন আমার টাকা ফেরত দিন। তখন বলা হয় টাকা ফেরত দেওয়া সম্ভব না। তখন উনি বলেন টাকা তো দিবেন ই দ্বিগুণের চেয়ে বেশি টাকা দিতে হবে।

উনার নাক সার্জারির সম্মতি পত্রে স্পষ্ট লিখা আছে
"আমি অবগত যে রাইনোপ্লাস্টির ফলাফল পূর্বানুমান্যোগ্য নয় এবং তা আমার প্রত্যাশা বা কল্পিত রূপের সাথে সম্পূর্ণ মিল নাও হতে পারে। চূড়ান্ত ফলাফল আমার নিজস্ব শারীরিক গঠন ও নির্দিষ্ট হিলিং প্রক্রিয়ার ওপর নির্ভরশীল।"

আরও অভিযোগ করেন নাকে ডাবল চেম্বার করে ফেলা হয়েছে এটাও মিথ্যা।
মিডিয়াতে কথা বলার সময় উনি মাস্ক পরে ছিলেন যাতে নাকে কোন সমস্যা নেই তা যেন কেউ বুঝতে না পারে।

বিষয়টি নিয়ে সোসাইটি অব প্লাস্টিক সার্জনস অব বাংলাদেশ ( SPSB) এবং বাংলাদেশ সোসাইটি অফ এসথেটিক প্লাস্টিক সার্জন এর পক্ষ থেকে বিভিন্ন প্রতিষ্ঠান ও বিভাগের বিশেষজ্ঞ চিকিৎসক সমন্বয়ে পাঁচ সদস্য বিশিষ্ট একটি উচ্চ পর্যায়ের তদন্ত কমিটি গঠন করা হয়। বিভিন্ন ডকুমেন্ট পর্যালোচনা করে প্রাথমিক ভাবে প্রতীয়মান হয়েছে যে সুমি আক্তারের অভিযোগ মিথ্যা এবং উদ্দেশ্য প্রনোদিত।
