Prof. Dr Borhan uddin ahamed Dr. Borhan Uddin Ahamed, Professor of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology teaches medical ethics. Dr. Ahamed is author of 19 peer review articles.

His research interests are in the areas of forensic science, medical ethics, doctor–patient relationship, community development, forensic social work, and restorative justice and parctice in academic medicine. He has pursued these areas out of professional and personal interest as independent lines of inquiry and as a consolidated focus of research. His present research is exploring the role of restorative justice as a strategy to address youth violence, conflicts resolution between doctor and patient in medical negligence case, community development by civic engagement in open judiciary system and restorative practice in medical education. In 2018 Dr. Ahamed expertise in these area as a Scholar and achieved the verified certificate from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand (https://courses.edx.org/certificates/6d3f836a5d08443890be2131c959616d).
