Today is World Lichen Sclerosus Day.

Vulvar lichen sclerosus is an inflammatory skin condition that is also a risk factor for vulvar cancer. Common symptoms include:

💜 Itching
💜 Burning or stinging
💜 Pain during in*******se or using the toilet

It’s also possible to have visible changes without the above symptoms, which is one of the reasons it’s good to do a vulvar self-check 🕵️‍♀️ regularly, just like you are encouraged to do regular breast self-exams.
