🦷মার্কারী ফিলিংয়ের ক্ষতিকর দিক

🦷মার্কারী ফিলিং (Mercury Filling) – যেটিকে সাধারণত অ্যামালগাম ফিলিং (Amalgam Filling) বলা হয় – এতে পারদ (mercury), রূপা (silver), টিন (tin), তামা (copper) ইত্যাদি ধাতব উপাদান থাকে। যদিও এটি বহু বছর ধরে দাঁতের ক্ষয় পূরণে ব্যবহৃত হয়ে আসছে, তবে এতে থাকা পারদের জন্য কিছু স্বাস্থ্য ঝুঁকি রয়েছে।

🛑 মার্কারী ফিলিংয়ের ক্ষতিকর দিকসমূহ:
1. পারদ বাষ্প নির্গমন করে
অ্যামালগাম ফিলিং থেকে খুব অল্প পরিমাণে পারদ বাষ্প নির্গত হতে পারে, বিশেষত চিবানো, দাঁত ঘষাঘষি করা বা গরম পানীয় খাওয়ার সময়।

দীর্ঘমেয়াদে এটি ফুসফুস দিয়ে শরীরে ঢুকে স্নায়ুতন্ত্র ও কিডনিতে প্রভাব ফেলতে পারে।

2. অ্যালার্জি বা সংবেদনশীল প্রতিক্রিয়া
কিছু মানুষ পারদের প্রতি সংবেদনশীল হতে পারে, যার ফলে মুখে জ্বালা, ফোলাভাব বা অন্যান্য অ্যালার্জিক প্রতিক্রিয়া দেখা দিতে পারে।

3. গর্ভবতী নারীদের জন্য ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ
গর্ভাবস্থায় মার্কারী শরীরে প্রবেশ করলে গর্ভের শিশুর মস্তিষ্কের বিকাশে ক্ষতিকর প্রভাব ফেলতে পারে।

4. পরিবেশ দূষণ
ফিলিং বাদ দেওয়ার সময় বা ফেলায় মার্কারী পরিবেশে মিশে যায় এবং জলজ প্রাণী ও পরিবেশে বিষক্রিয়া সৃষ্টি করতে পারে।

5. কোনো কোনো ক্ষেত্রে মানসিক সমস্যা
দীর্ঘমেয়াদি মার্কারী এক্সপোজারে মাথাব্যথা, মনোযোগে সমস্যা, হতাশা বা স্মৃতিশক্তি দুর্বল হওয়ার মতো মানসিক উপসর্গ দেখা দিতে পারে।

✅ বিকল্প হিসেবে কী ব্যবহার করা যায়?

🦷 কম্পোজিট ফিলিং (Composite resin) দাঁতের রঙের সঙ্গে মেলে, মার্কারী নেই।

🦷 গ্লাস আয়োনোমার (Glass Ionomer) – শিশুদের দাঁতের জন্য ভালো বিকল্প।

🦷 সেরামিক বা পোরসেলিন ফিলিং – দীর্ঘস্থায়ী ও দেখতে ভালো।
