পিত্তথলীর ক্যান্সার। এক জটিল রোগ। সময়মত রোগ নির্ণয় না হলে চিকিৎসা অনেক চ্যালেঞ্জিং হয়ে যায়।
সিলেট থেকে হতাশ হয়ে ঢাকা আসেন জনৈক রোগি। রোগির ছেলে দের একটাই আকাঙ্খা যেন অপারেশন করে তাদের মাকে ভাল করে দেই। অথচ ক্যন্সারটা অনে গভীর। পিত্তথলীর ক্যান্সার সাধারণত পিত্তপাথরের সাথে সম্পর্কিত। সেটা যখন লিবারের সাথে ছড়িয়ে যায় তখন লিবারের অংশসহ কেটে ফেলতে হয়। ৫০ বছরের এক মহিলা রোগির এ অপারেশন সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন করতে পেরেছি আজ নিউ লাইফ হাসপাতালে।
