Gender Transformative Organization Development support of Harmony: OCA Workshop with TARANGO in Dhaka

Today 16th October 2025, we are pleased to announce the successful completion of a 2-day Organization Capacity Assessment (OCA) workshop for TARANGO in Dhaka. This workshop marks another important milestone in our partnership with Save the Children in supporting emerging Women-Led Organizations (WLO), like TARANGO under the SWOCCHAR project, with generous funding from the Kingdom of Netherlands.

Led by Amitabha Bhattacharjee, Chief Executive at Harmony, the workshop guided TARANGO through a self-assessment of organizational capacities using a Gender Transformative lens. This process identified both strengths and areas for improvement, with a special focus on the latter to enhance organizational effectiveness.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of TARANGO family for their active participation and invaluable contributions throughout the process. Special thanks to Save the Children for enabling Harmony to further its mandate of providing OD support to grassroots organizations focused on gender equality and women empowerment.

Together, we are moving closer to a future where women-led organizations thrive and lead transformative change in their communities, and thereby fostering the localization agenda.
