The World Audiologist Day 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pride at PISER. The event highlighted the importance of audiology professionals and their invaluable contribution to improving communication and quality of life for individuals with hearing disorders.

Seminars & Special Guests:

Professor Dr. Artur Lorens – Head of the Department of Auditory Implant and Perception at World Hearing Center & Professor at the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing, Warsaw, Poland.

Dr. Christian Steppan – Regional Manager at MED-EL, overseeing operations in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka

Ms. Kaniz Fatema – Chief Audiologist, Hicare

Sayard Benvenuti – ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist, MED-EL

Engr. Mir Mosharof Hossain – CEO, Tabassum International & Local Partner of MED-EL

The day was filled with fun and engaging activities organized for students and participants. There were quiz competitions, poster presentations, and a video-making contest, all focused on themes related to hearing health and audiology awareness. The enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the participants made the celebration lively and interactive.
