Dr.Arup Krishna Choudhury is an Enthusiastic, Young yet Experienced Vitreo-Retina Specialist and Clinical Researcher from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Dr.Arup completed his graduation MBBS in 2010 from Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital under the University of Rajshahi. He accomplished a Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in 2016 and completed FCPS in Ophthalmology in 2021 both at his first attempt. He has done Long long-term fellowship and observership program on Vitreo-Retina in 2021-2022 from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital, Dhaka, and Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. He did 8 years of training in Ophthalmology and Vitreo-Retina from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital, National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, and Lions Eye Institute & Hospital Dhaka. He has a special interest in Retina, Uveitis, Teaching, and Research. He has several publications in reputed national and international journals. He is one of the senior mentors of BAVIS- Bangladesh Academy of vision science which is a post-graduation orientation course program related to ophthalmology. He is a life member of the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh (OSB), Bangladesh Young Ophthalmologists Society (BYOS) and EC member, Bangladesh Uvea Society (BUS), Bangladesh Vitreo-Retina Society(BVRS) and International Society of Manual Small Incision Cataract Surgeons: Pune, India.
