2021 সালে, রাজশাহী সিল্ক বাংলাদেশের একটি পণ্য হিসাবে ভৌগলিক মর্যাদা পেয়েছে।
তাই, উৎসবের মরসুমে রাজশাহী সিল্ক পরতে দ্বিধা করবেন না।

13th century is the time when this region started the production of silk, though China knew the process for more than 2500 years. Our silk was known as Bengal silk or Ganges silk.
Fast forward to the modern time - silk production had been started in Rajshahi in 1952. The Rajshahi Silk Factory was a state owned factory which was founded in 1961.
In 2021, it was given Geographical indication status as a product of Bangladesh. So, don't hesitate to wear RAJSHAHI SILK during the festive seasons.

Safe Haven By Nicoshia গত মাসে নিজেদের প্রথম শপ উদ্বোধন করেছে। এর আগে থেকেই দোকানটি শাড়ি এবং গয়নার জন্য খুবই পপুলার। নতুন দোকান, বৈশাখ, ঈদ - সবকিছু মিলিয়ে উনাদের অনেকগুলো ডিস্কাউন্ট লাইভ হচ্ছে। প্রথম "১৫৫০ টাকা"র লাইভগুলো থেকে আমি কিছুই কিনতে পারি নি। লাইভ চলার সময়েই সব বুক হয়ে গেছে।
সিকো গাদোয়াল লাইভের জন্য তাই আগেই প্ল্যান করে রেখেছিলাম। কম্পিউটার থেকে লাইভ দেখেছি আর বুকিং নেওয়ার জন্য মোবাইল ফোন ইউস করেছি। সিকো গাদোয়ালের পার আর জমিনের কম্বিনেশন আসলে মেইন সৌন্দর্য। তাই শাড়ি পুরাটা খোলার আগেই আমি আসলে বুক করেছি। মায়ের জন্য স্পেশাল গিফট ছিলো দুটোই, তাই কিনতে পেরে অসম্ভব ভালো লেগেছে।
দুইটা শাড়িই আসলে অপূর্ব সুন্দর। যেই দেখেছে সেই বলেছে - "জিতছেন মামা" :D
যাই হোক, এবার আসি "ধরা খাওয়ার" গল্পে। পরের লাইভ থেকে কাতান/ কাঞ্চিপুরাম ডিজাইনের কাতানটা কিনে ধরা খেয়ে গিয়েছি। লাইভে শাড়িটা খুবই সুন্দর এবং সফিস্টিকেটেড লেগেছিলো। আর এই লাল-কমলা মিশেলের রংটাও দারুন। কিন্তু পার্সেল হাতে পেয়ে উৎসাহ একদম শেষ হয়ে গেলো। প্রথম ব্যপার হলো, শাড়িটা সামনাসামনি খুবই ম্যাটম্যাটে আর রাফ। ভালোমত ভাঁজ করা হয় নি দেখে প্রথম দেখাতেই মন খারাপ হয়ে গিয়েছিলো। প্রিয় বন্ধুর জন্য কেনা শাড়িটা এখন একটু ঘষামাজা করে নিতে হবে। এই আর কি!

With a great response and large customer base, "Safe Haven By Nicoshia" started the journey of their physical shops last month. Since then, the shop is giving lucrative discount offers through Facebook lives. During the first few "1500 Taka" lives, I could not buy a single sharee.
So, next time I set a strategy :D

This trick worked and I bought two Sico Gadowal Sharees at an exciting price! These were gifts for my Mom. Whoever saw these two pieces, said that I got a very good deal. They are really beautiful.
Now comes the sad part. During the next live of mixed sharees, I managed to grab a Katan or Kanchipurom-inspired Katan. I was very happy because for many years I was looking for this crimson red color. BUT....
After opening the parcel, I was devastated. The sharee was not enough beautiful and they didn't fold the sharee properly degrading the first impression. I also have some doubts about the quality. It was also a gift for a dear friend.
My learning is - it's wise to go to the shop directly for buying the discounted stuff.

According to a new study by Dermatologists at Emory University in Atlanta says – that little device (umbrella) could help shield skin from ultraviolet (UV) rays. The researchers found that any fully-functioning handheld umbrella can block more than three-quarters of UV light on a sunny day. Choose black umbrellas especially because, they seem to do the job well, by blocking at least 90 percent of rays.

Summer and Sun - both are singing duo with great enthusiasm. And our tired bodies need extra energy to dance with their summary-sunny songs.
Yogurt Lemonade can be your dance partner in this season. How? Here it is ..............
>> Take few ice-cubes
>> 1 cup of fresh yogurt
>> 3 Table Spoons of Lemon Juice
>> 1/2 Tea Spoon Salt
>> 1 Table Spoon Sugar
Blend the above ingredients with 1/2 Liter of cold water, store in refrigerator over night and carry with you next day. Don't forget to drink :D

[Moisturizer] vs [Sunblock Cream]
Hello Guys and Girls. Hope that you are enjoying the spring with cool air and sunny sky.
During this beautiful weather, I am being confused with an old question. What to apply first? Moisturizer or Sunblock Cream?

Here goes the answer
Combine your Moisturizer with your Sunblock Cream. How?
Pour few drops of moisturizer on your hand, and pour few drops of Sunblock Cream. Then apply on the face gently. For me, this technique works good :D
