আবূ হুরায়রাহ্‌ (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ

রসূলুল্লাহ (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) জুমু‘আর দিন সম্পর্কে আলোচনা প্রসঙ্গে বলেনঃ তাতে এমন একটি মুহূর্ত আছে যখন কোন মুসলিম বান্দা সলাতরত অবস্থায় আল্লাহর নিকট কিছু প্রার্থনা করলে অবশ্যই তিনি তাকে তা দান করেন। কুতায়বাহ্‌ (রাঃ)-এর বর্ণনায় আরো আছেঃ তিনি তাঁর হাত দ্বারা মুহূর্তটির স্বল্পতার প্রতি ইঙ্গিত করেন। (ই.ফা. ১৮৩৯, ই.সে. ১৮৪৬)
