আমরা গভীর শোকাহত!

ইস্ট ওয়েস্ট মেডিকেল কলেজের প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থী
ডা: মিশুক ভট্টাচার্য, ব্যাচ: EW-04, শিক্ষাবর্ষ: ২০০৬–২০০৭
অত্যন্ত দুঃখের সঙ্গে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, গত ১৯ শে জানুয়ারি ২০২৬ ইং, রোজ সোমবার গাজীপুরে এক মর্মান্তিক সড়ক দুর্ঘটনায় তিনি পরলোকগমন করেছেন।

একজন মেধাবী, মানবিক ও দায়িত্বশীল চিকিৎসক হিসেবে ডা: মিশুক ভট্টাচার্য তাঁর সহপাঠী, শিক্ষক ও সহকর্মীদের কাছে ছিলেন অত্যন্ত প্রিয় ও সম্মানিত। তাঁর অকাল প্রয়াণে ইস্ট ওয়েস্ট মেডিকেল কলেজ পরিবার এক অপূরণীয় ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হয়েছে।
এই শোকাবহ মুহূর্তে আমরা তাঁর বিদেহী আত্মার চিরশান্তি কামনা করছি এবং শোকসন্তপ্ত পরিবার-পরিজন, স্বজন ও সহপাঠীদের প্রতি গভীর সমবেদনা জানাচ্ছি।

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Begum Khaleda Zia 🇧🇩

It is with deep sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of Begum Khaleda Zia, the first female Prime Minister of Bangladesh and a significant figure in the nation’s political history. She passed away on 30 December 2025 at the age of 80 after a prolonged illness, leaving behind a long legacy of public service and leadership.

Begum Khaleda Zia’s role in shaping Bangladesh’s democratic journey and her emergence as a prominent female leader has been recognized both nationally and internationally. Her remarkable political career has inspired many, and her absence will be deeply felt across the country and beyond.

In honor of her contributions: 🕯️ The nation of Bangladesh has entered a period of mourning, with flags lowered to half-mast.
🌍 Tributes and condolences have poured in from leaders and citizens around the world.

On behalf of East West Medical College Journal, we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, supporters, and to all those mourning in Bangladesh and around the globe. May her soul rest in peace.

প্রফেসর ডা. মোঃ মোয়াজ্জেম হোসেন স্যার, Aichi Hospital-এর সম্মানিত শিশু বিশেষজ্ঞ হিসেবে তাঁর পেশাগত দক্ষতা, সততা ও মানবিক স্বাস্থ্যসেবার মাধ্যমে চিকিৎসাক্ষেত্রে একটি সুদৃঢ় অবস্থান তৈরি করেছেন। শিশু রোগীদের প্রতি তাঁর আন্তরিকতা, ধৈর্য ও দায়িত্বশীল চিকিৎসা অভিভাবকদের আস্থার প্রতীক হয়ে উঠেছে।

গর্বের সাথে উল্লেখ্য, শিশুস্বাস্থ্য ও চিকিৎসাসেবায় স্যারের উল্লেখযোগ্য অবদান জাপানের একটি স্বনামধন্য সংবাদপত্রে প্রকাশিত হয়েছে, যা Aichi Hospital-এর জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্বীকৃতি।
