The scalp speaks!

50-years old male presented with sudden onset hair loss over the scalp for the past 3 weeks.
On examination, there is well-defined, smooth, non-scarring patches of hair loss over the scalp. The skin appears normal without erythema or scaling. Exclamation mark -hairs are seen at the margins of the lesion.

Quick weight gain, long-term damage!

A 30-year-old male, non-diabetic and normotensive, presented with multiple well-demarcated, round, pruritic lesions over both upper and lower limbs, abdomen, and groin.

On further inquiry, he gave a history of long-term, unsupervised use of oral prednisolone for weight gain, to which he has become accustomed.

Decode the gait!

A 14-year-old boy presented with right-sided mild weakness for 10 days.There was no history of trauma or fall.

A 40-year-old male, fisherman, presented with fever for 3 days, followed by extensive vesicular eruptions over the entire body for 2 days. The lesions are associated with a burning sensation and irritation. Notably, he had been staying continuously on a river for 3 days prior to the onset of symptoms while engaged in fishing.

Another day another forms of rash!

18yrs old male presented with high grade fever for 5days. For 2days, extensive maculopapular rash over face, trunk, all four limbs including palm and sole. Ulceration on hard palate and there is conjunctival congestion. During 2nd day of fever he took ciprofloxacin 500 mg from local pharmacy for high fever.
