This role will be responsible for the outward facing work we do to bring in resources, communicate our work and influence funders to support our strategic framework, Mtiririko and lead our External Engagement Team.

আজ ৬ই অক্টোবর বিশ্ব সেরিব্রাল পালসি দিবস । এ বছর দিবসটির প্রতিপাদ্য নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে “ভিন্নতায় সৌন্দর্য, একতায় শক্তি (Unique and United)”।
সেরিব্রাল পালসি (Cerebral Palsy বা CP) একটি একক রোগ নয় বরং বেশ কয়েকটি স্নায়বিক রোগের একটি গ্রুপ যা শিশুর মধ্যে ঘটে এবং স্থায়ীভাবে শিশুর পেশীর নড়াচড়া এবং অঙ্গবিন্যাসকে প্রভাবিত করে, যা শিশুকে আজীবন প্রতিবন্ধিতার মুখে ফেলে দেয়। সেরিব্রাল পালসি প্রতি ১,০০০ শিশুর মধ্যে ২ থেকে ৪ জনকে প্রভাবিত করে। সেরিব্রাল পালসি হল গর্ভাবস্থায়, জন্মের সময় বা জন্মের পরপরই মস্তিষ্কের ক্ষতি বা অস্বাভাবিক মস্তিষ্কের বিকাশের ফলে সৃষ্ট স্নায়বিক অবস্থার একটি গ্রুপ। এই রোগের দৃষ্টিশক্তি, বাক এবং শেখার সমস্যা, বুদ্ধিবৃত্তিক সীমাবদ্ধতা, মৃগীরোগ এবং স্বেচ্ছায় পেশী নড়াচড়ার আংশিক বা সম্পূর্ণ ক্ষতি-সহ বিভিন্ন লক্ষণ রয়েছে। এটি মস্তিষ্ক ও পেশীর সমস্যা। অনেক সময় চোখ ও কানও সেরিব্রাল পালসিতে আক্রান্ত হয়। (তথ্যসূত্রঃ উইকিপিডিয়া)
