Meet your new trainers, Jessie and Janissa!

Favorite Physique Move: Thigh Dancing (with some shimmies and hip shakes of course)

With 12 years of formal dance training, 9 years of competitive gymnastics training, 6 years of professional performance experience at renowned regional theaters, and a BFA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College, fitness, movement, and music have been cornerstones of Jessie’s life for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her tough midwestern roots coupled with her love for sports and rock ‘n roll also contribute to her high energy and spunky teaching style. Jessie is thrilled to begin her fitness instruction journey with Physique57, and looks forward to mastering all that their method has to offer! 

Fun Fact: Jessie is a big 80s metal fan!

Janissa
Favorite Physique move: Mermaid because would doesn’t want to be part of that world!

Born and raised in sunny Southern California where movement and music brought her to Chicago for her degree in Musical Theatre. After performing professionally all over the country for many years Janissa has now found her soft spot to land in New York where she has cracked her academic code into pursing education in the medical field. If you need a creative way to remember any anatomy or physiology, she’s your girl!

Fun Fact: I am certified with the American and British academy in Stage Combat!

Certifications: STOTT Pilates Full Certification, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
