On Sunday, around June 21st the International Day of Yoga will be celebrated in Antwerp, organized by The Antwerp Indian Association (AIA) and the Embassy of India, Brussels. It was a landslide victory for India when the UN General Assembly declared June 21 the “International Day of Yoga”, inspired by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi’s speech on September 2014, urging the world community to c

elebrate yoga on an international level. With an expected 1,000 participants in Antwerp alone, the event will not only bring together an unprecedented number of yoga enthusiasts, but will also unite people across the globe in solidarity. The event is open to everyone age 12 and up, and will take place in Wilrijk, Antwerp. When: Sunday
