Mother’s Day reminds me of unconditional love ❤️

My mother has been the epitome of that love — giving without expectations, holding without asking for anything in return.

I watched her take care of my brother during his cancer journey, and later me during mine.
She didn’t flinch.
She didn’t complain.
She simply gave.

And I know there must have been pain, fear, exhaustion… yet she carried it all so quietly.

I have not always been easy. I have been hard on her at times. But she held space for all of it, allowing me to truly be myself.

People often speak about strength as something loud.
But I have seen another kind of strength in women — soft, silent, nurturing, unwavering. The feminine carries such warmth, compassion, and love… and at the same time, an unbreakable resilience when life demands it.

Today, I feel deeply grateful and blessed for the women in my life — my mother, my family, and the women who stepped into that role for me during some of the hardest moments of my journey.

I realize how much love I have received in this lifetime.
And today, I truly want to pause and honour that. Feeling so grateful and blessed.

So today, let’s celebrate every woman —
here and everywhere in the world —
who continues to embody unconditional love, purity, compassion, strength, and resilience.

Take a moment today to express gratitude to the women in your life — quietly or openly.

To be able to walk alongside someone in their healing journey…to hold space, to listen, to support — is a true privilege.

When I chose this path, I knew it was meaningful, it was my calling through my journey with cancer but I also felt moments of overwhelm , wondering if I would truly be able to do justice to it.

And then moments like this…they make my heart full.
They remind me why I began.
They inspire me to keep going.
They fill my day with meaning and purpose.
It fills me with deep gratitude to be on this path of service and healing. And in many ways, it feels like it is healing me too alongside.

For many people living with cancer or chronic illness,
it’s not just the illness itself —
it’s the not knowing that feels hardest…
the uncertainty of what lies ahead.

I know this because I live in that space too.
There isn’t a perfect way to feel okay about uncertainty.
But we can learn how to be with it without letting it overwhelm us.

🌿 A gentle practice for moments of uncertainty:
Pause.
Place one hand on your heart.
Take a slow breath in… and out.
And softly say:
“Right now, I am here.”

Come back to this moment, to NOW. This helps regulate the nervous system.

You don’t have to figure everything out.
You only need to meet this moment.

Sometimes hope feels strong.
Sometimes it feels far away.
And sometimes, what we are really learning...is how to trust life even when we don’t know what comes next.

There is something deep within us —
that knows how to trust , that knows how to keep going,
one moment at a time.

This extract from the poem - "For the Traveller" by John O’Donohue shared in our healing circle invites us to keep moving through the unknown… to trust the quiet, inner space that knows the way.

World Breathing Day 🌬️

Breath is life.

In yoga, it is called prana — the vital life force that flows through us, sustaining every cell, every moment. And yet, in the busyness of life, we forget something so simple and so powerful.
We forget to embrace the breath.

This week, as I facilitate a spring soul detox and reflect on the element of air, I am reminded — our breath is not just a biological function, it is a bridge.
A bridge between body and mind.
Between stress and calm.
Between survival and healing.

Ancient yogic wisdom has always known this.
And today, science confirms it: Slow, conscious breathing helps regulate the nervous system, activates the parasympathetic (rest-and-heal) response, reduces stress hormones, and supports emotional and physical healing.
Every inhale nourishes.
Every exhale releases.

You don’t always need to do more.
Sometimes, you just need to breathe… consciously.

Today, take a moment.
Pause.
Inhale deeply.
Exhale slowly.

Come back to yourself.

World Health Day 💚

Health is not just the absence of disease — and even the World Health Organization defines it as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being.

And yet, much of our system focuses primarily on symptoms and physical cure. Research clearly indicates now that :

- The nervous system plays a central role in healing.
- Chronic stress impacts immunity, inflammation, and recovery.
- Emotional and psychological health directly influences treatment outcomes and quality of life.

Across psycho-oncology, integrative medicine, and mind–body science, evidence continues to show that healing is not just biological — it is systemic.

And this applies to all illnesses, not just cancer.

We cannot separate the body from the mind.
Or the mind from lived experience.
Or health from the environment and support systems around us.

My wish is simple:

That we begin to truly see the human being as a whole.
That care moves beyond protocols to people.
That treatment includes not just medicine — but an integrative approach alongside it including nutrition, mental and emotional support, nervous system regulation, and connection, lifestyle changes etc.

Because there is a difference between curing a disease…and supporting a human being in healing.

Today, on World Health Day,
let’s move from fragmented care to whole-person health. 💚

I know how overwhelming it can feel.

So many options. So much information.

And somewhere in between… the constant question:
“Am I doing enough?”

I’ve lived this closely—through my brother’s journey, when we searched everywhere after medicine had no more answers… because just waiting and watching was never an option.

And I’ve felt it in my own journey too—
What else can I do? Where can I do more?

But here’s what I’ve come to realise…
Every individual is unique and every healing journey is deeply personal

Just because something worked for someone else… doesn’t mean it’s right for you.

So how do you decide?
You turn inward.

Because your body carries wisdom.
Your soul already knows.
Trust that inner guidance.

Let's gently reconnect with your inner guidance and align with what truly supports your healing.
