Dominique Cambon was born in Ghent, Belgium (1970). At one point she looked at a stack of old magazines and had an idea. That is how the idea came to design ecological paper art and design. The idea is to give a new life to old or even broken items. Her first works were Ja

panese drawings set with paper mosaic. Over the years she immersed herself in other techniques such as modular origami and quilling art. Her creations are still a combination of old and new materials. Meanwhile, her skills developed more by creating lightings. She is inspired by the elements of nature and Japanese culture. 💥💥💥💥In less than 4 weeks, the group exhibition 🎨 Artistiek doordrongen will open its doors at the stunning Oude Abdij Drongen
As curator of this unique event — and Artistic Director of Dekenij Verenigd Drongen — I’m proud to present an inspiring selection of works by 55 national and international artists. The six schools of Drongen will also showcase their beautiful creations.
✨ With great enthusiasm, I’ll be unveiling my latest paper art pieces during the exhibition.
Come explore, experience, and immerse yourself in a world of artistic expression!

Crafted from recycled eco-paper, this sculptural light fixture draws inspiration from the evergreen BOXWOOD🌳. Delicate paper rolls mimic its leaves, capturing the quiet rhythm of growth and renewal. Shades of vibrant green, deep black, and radiant gold evoke the lush vitality of the plant—its resilience, its grace, its timeless beauty.
