Yoga came to play an important role in my life ever since I started practicing regularly in 2015. I was in Melbourne, Australia, exploring my path in life, when I started taking classes in yin, hatha and vinyasa yoga. As a young adult, I have experienced life as a search in this big world. Soon, I felt how yoga helped me feel more physically, as well as mentally at ease. During my university study of sociology, it was a necessity to practice, in order to deal with the stress and the pressures of life. Also, yoga has been my best companion in working through trauma and other psychological challenges. Compassionate and sensitive as I am, I feel it as my duty to share the tools that helped me, contributing to a healthier world and happier people. So this spring, I did a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at RainbowLight Yoga (Sunshine Ross) in the south of France in the hatha-vinyasa style. I’m adding to that more yin anatomy knowledge in a 50hr training by Ekhart Yoga (José De Groot). Yoga for me is a tool to live life happily. It helps me to center and feel the bigger whole. Moving the attention inwards, feeling the body, recognizing thoughts or habits, getting to know yourself and working on more focus, stability and strength. Inspired by Hinduism, Taoism and mindfulness, the yoga I share leaves you calm, refreshed, centered and more loving.
