🇬🇧 New Year often comes with resolutions or wishes.

Push harder. Or hope something magical will happen.

Different strategies. Same escape.

Both avoid staying with what already is.
For many sensitive people, efforting was never a choice - it became identity.
So not pushing is the real effort.

What if this year is not about chasing the future,
but letting go of the chase so something different can emerge?

Sometimes, less pushing becomes more space.

___ 🇪🇸 ___

This image is not a metaphor.
It is literal.

It is a photo-sensorial translation of what emerged after an invitation to draw following a session, in which I contacted a prenatal imprint.

“The news, the shock” depicts a very early experience that shaped my physical, mental, and emotional structures. The sensation of being meant to be gotten rid of, of not being legitimate to exist or to be. That I was not welcomed with joy, but with pain and rejection. An experience felt in the body like a dagger in the belly, accompanied by powerful images and unbearable emotions.

It became the template for my deepest beliefs: that my needs didn’t matter and that my place, justified as a “life mission,” was to hold, to overadapt, to serve others, to sacrifice, to be the good child who later became the adult without the right to say no, to make mistakes, or to be messy. Not as a choice, but as a monolithic identity.

It took me 7 years to recontact this bodily, womb-level experience. At the time, it was intolerable. I felt like I was losing my mind. There was no container, so I had to place it in a vault.

This year, something changed.

Through the NATouch training, and deepened by 3 advanced prenatal trauma workshops, this material finally resurfaced.

During an online supervision, held with mastery, I was able to contact this place without disorganizing myself. As the session ended, my body went straight to painting materials that had been waiting 5 years.

Having not painted since I was 8, I painted without a sketch and finished in 5 minutes.
Not because it was beautiful,
but because it was exact and meaningful to me.

This painting exists so that what was once intolerable can exist outside of me. My body and unconscious mind gave it exact form, boundaries, and presence. It gives space and legitimacy to what no longer requires external validation, not even from my own family.

5 months later, it is public. It has become my embodied archetype of authenticity and a manifesto of what 2025 has meant to me.

Thanks to Sue Bell ( ) for your empathetic holding and Aline LaPierre ( ) for your extraordinary contribution

✨ ¿QUIÉN SOY? AÚN NO SÉ. ✨
(versions in 🇬🇧 EN & 🇫🇷 FR in comments)

Confiar.
No forzar, no huir. Solo sentir.

Aún no sé.”

✨ SOY ✨
(versions in 🇬🇧 EN & 🇫🇷 FR in comments)

Simplemente SOY.

🧠 Healing isn’t blocked by you. It’s simply that some of the beliefs that once protected you may no longer serve you.

“I’m fine, it doesn’t affect me anymore.” “I had a good childhood, so I shouldn’t struggle.” “If I just try harder, I’ll control this.” “If I find the right method, I’ll finally get rid of it."

These are not flaws. They are old survival adaptations — tender strategies that helped you cope, belong, or protect yourself from what once felt overwhelming.

But healing begins when these beliefs can soften.

When we stop trying to fix or eliminate, and begin listening. When symptoms are no longer enemies, but messages in the language of sensation.

When we let ourselves be witnessed — not for who we should be, but for who we truly are inside.

🌿 This is the heart of Embodying Your Resilience: a 7-week somatic group journey beginning Oct 4 in Brussels — with TRE® and SE® practices in a small, attuned group.

Not to fix you. But to create space where your body and authentic self can finally be met.

🪷 Your body, or yourself, is not a problem to fix — it’s a place to return to 🪷

Trauma doesn’t just live in stories — it lives in the body.

What we inherited, what we lived through, and what we never received… it all shapes how we feel, relate, and cope today.

But healing isn’t about fixing yourself or erasing the past.

It’s about coming home to your body, meeting yourself as you are, and letting your authentic self be witnessed in safety and presence.

That’s the space we cultivate together in Embodying Your Resilience (starting Oct 4, 2025 in Brussels) — a somatic journey with TRE® & SE® practices, where healing happens not through effort but through connection.

You can know all the right words… …and still be completely disconnected from yourself.

Trauma and somatic jargon isn’t bad — but without sensation, presence, and real connection, it becomes another way to avoid feeling.

That’s why in Embodying Your Resilience, we go beyond the language of healing — into the living, breathing, body-based experience of it.

💬 Have you noticed this “healing language” trend too? Share your thoughts below 👇
