Zano earned new recognition at the Grazia Mother & Kids Awards, where Zano Pro was awarded Best Nebulizer and Zano To Go won Best Product Introduced in 2025. This Sunday, March 1 at 11:00 in South Park, SENDO joins PulseDay: Run for the Rhythm of Your Heart in celebration of World Pulse Day. The date 1.3. carries a powerful message, reflecting the fact that 1 in 3 people is at risk of developing arrhythmia during their lifetime. With patented HIRA technology integrated into Sendo Advance 3, SENDO supports early recognition of heart rhythm irregularities.

Participants can choose between 5 km and 10 km distances and enjoy family friendly activities. Educational zones will provide practical guidance on pulse measurement and prevention, while the SENDO tent will offer on site blood pressure checks.

As part of the Every Heart Matters initiative, visitors who bring an old or damaged blood pressure monitor for recycling will receive a discount voucher for Sendo Advance 3, encouraging responsible disposal while improving access to advanced health technology.

Global Brand Manager - Medical Devices Yoanna Ilieva mentored one of the multidisciplinary teams, which advanced to the final and secured 2nd place with O!Mg, a concept for extended-release magnesium patches.Competing in the Over-the-Counter Medicines category, the team stood out among more than 20 teams across sectors including food, beer, retail and telecommunications.

Working within a condensed timeframe and under real competitive pressure, the students transformed a complex healthcare brief into a sharp strategic platform and integrated campaign concept. The atmosphere was intense, emotional and driven by genuine passion for brand building.

Unicoms is taking part in the 13th edition of Advertising Academy – an intensive, practice-led educational project designed to replicate the dynamics of real-world brand and communications development.

Hosted by New Bulgarian University from 16 to 20 February 2026, the Academy brings together multidisciplinary student teams and leading industry professionals around live business cases. Working within a condensed timeframe and a highly focused environment, participants are expected to approach the challenge as practitioners and develop integrated marketing solutions from the ground up.

As part of this year’s program, Yoanna Ilieva, Global Brand Manager – Medical Devices at Unicoms, will mentor a team, guiding them through strategic thinking and decision-making. Educational materials prepared by in-house doctor Dr. Sara Tuncheva offered clear guidance on prostate health, early screening and the importance of recognising changes in the body.

Psycho-vocal therapist Velin Markov facilitated a workshop that introduced grounding techniques, breathwork and an honest conversation about strength, stress and connection. The session encouraged participants to notice tension, manage pressure more effectively and adopt simple habits that support resilience and balance in daily life.
