Are you tired of feeling like you’re always on the back burner?

As moms, we often put everyone else's needs before our own, juggling the demands of family, work, and life while neglecting our own well-being. We pour our hearts into caring for our children, partners, and households, but in the process, we can lose sight of who we are and what we truly want.

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that taking time for ourselves is selfish or indulgent. We worry that if we take a moment to breathe, everything will fall apart. But the truth is, when we ignore our own needs, we risk burning out and feeling resentful.

You deserve to feel fulfilled and happy in your life—not just as a mom but as an individual with dreams and passions. It’s time to shift the narrative from “I have to do it all” to “I get to take care of myself too.” When you prioritize your own well-being, you set an example for your children about the importance of self-care and self-worth.

Let's be real - as moms, we're so busy keeping our humans alive and happy that we often forget to take care of ourselves. I mean, as a new mom who has time to brush their hair when you're covered in spit-up and sleep-deprived? Absolutely worth the wait!!

When we first saw a live edge table, it was at a bazaar in Japan. From that day on, we have dreamed of having a beautiful, one of a kind live edge table, but the timing never worked out.

Fortunately, as AWA President, I was introduced to a vendor at one of our meetings. Bradley of had some beautiful cutting boards, so I asked if he would be able to do a live edge table for us.

He meticulously listened to how we wanted the size and design to be, as well as the custom legs. His attention to detail and love for woodworking are displayed beautifully in our new table! The details and characteristics of the wood are perfectly preserved, and it is a very gorgeous table we are in love with!!

Having back surgery to becoming an Integrative Health Advocate

Living a Soul Powered Life is about giving you back your POWER.

Have you ever felt like you completely lost your own identity and ability to function? When you suffer silently in pain, many cannot understand or even believe you. Sometimes when we are deep in a struggle, it appears there is no way out and we are never going to get better.

20 years ago I had my first back surgery and it changed the ENTIRE projection of my life! While I was recovering from my laminectomy, I decided to educate myself on the health of the human body - on ALL aspects. Soon I became a massage therapist to learn about anatomy on a deeper level, which then lead to pursuing a deeper education in nutrition, becoming a personal trainer and then also a yoga instructor. Integrative Health has become my passion. Teaching people how to listen to their body, never have to diet again and life a healthy, sustainable lifestyle without crazy restrictions is my life!

In order to help others in our lives, we need to be strong, confident and healthy. To love ourselves and believe in our inner strength is very hard, but absolutely doable. By healing yourself from the inside depths of your soul to be a better person on the outside. You will be able to give more love to others, be the best role model, mom and wife. It all starts with YOU.
