This is a Gentle reminder that I am not required to dim my light for anyone. Stop telling me to turn down when you need to be turning the f**k up. I will no longer apologize for being intellectually resourceful, highly educated, multitalented, beautiful, happy, and endowed with the gifts that God bestowed on me to shine on this planet. I refuse to dim my light because you won’t do the hard work to let your own light shine through.

I’ve been insecure about my body, so I put in the work. I’ve been insecure about my skin, so I created my own skincare line. I’ve been insecure about my career, so I’ve been working my ass off. Through my insecurities, I’ve cultivated a mindset for change, finding security and stability in those spaces.

I’m exhausted from being told to “chill” and “simmer down” after all my efforts to step into my light. BITCH, no! For who? You? Because you can’t see yourself? Your divinity? Your light? Absolutely Not, even when I don’t have much it’s still nothing but jealousy and side eye mal ojo 🧿 energy like enough is enough 🥲✊🏿😅

Check the birth chart, baby (LAST POST) I am all ground and fire, like moving lava—there’s no stopping me or simmering me down once I start to flow. So, give yourself permission to finally show up as yourself, because I am not dimming down for you.

Happy Juneteenth 🧘🏿‍♂️❤️🧘🏾‍♀️

On this Juneteenth, we honor the resilience and strength of our ancestors who fought for freedom and justice. Their legacy is a powerful reminder of our enduring spirit and the importance of healing from the deep wounds inflicted by history.

As we celebrate this day of liberation, it is crucial for us, African-Americans, to explore and embrace diverse healing modalities. These practices are essential in breaking generational curses and addressing the ancestral wounds caused by the unimaginable hardships our forebears endured.

Yoga, in particular, has become an integral part of this healing journey. As a yoga teacher, I am deeply honored to share this transformative practice with our global community. Through yoga, we find a pathway to physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, helping us to release the pain of the past and move forward with strength and grace.

By embracing yoga and other healing practices, we cultivate peace within ourselves and contribute to a more harmonious world. On this Juneteenth, let us commit to our healing, honor our heritage, and envision a future filled with love, peace, and unity for all.

These are the four words I will use to describe the foundation that was built during this photoshoot. We laughed, we cried, we danced, and we flowed. It was a reflection of the evening we will be hosting with the Sacral Goddess Workshop at on June 29 from 6-8PM. JOIN US THE LINK IS IN BIO!

is a space where women can come and naturally celebrate and embrace their temple of divinity. It’s about moving past the darkness that dimmed our light and walking into the warm embrace of genuine friendship, connection to the divine, and connection to self 🙏🏾. I know that I will hold these memories in my heart for life because what these ladies did for my confidence and self-esteem this day was nothing short of a representation of our mission: to make beautiful women feel beautiful again.

🌟 Blogging is such a spiritual avenue for me. It’s like journaling for the world, sharing my story in an emotionally stable and intellectual standpoint while honoring the rawness of my feelings and my emotions ❤️🙏🏾

I’ve been in tears all day, processing through this energy that takes over me once a year, reminding me that there are still so many layers left to peel in this healing journey. To all the beautiful and incredible women who have responded with so much love, and have poured their hearts to me resonating and connecting with this message thank you so much for being a witness to this testimony 🙏🏾🌹❤️

I am so grateful to for creating a space for where women can come together and bask in the light of their true divinity unapologetically
