I have to give this establishment high remarks! I was so hungry that I did not take a pic of my lobster roll which was absolutely delicious. Their lobster roll was better than what I had in the states. The lobster was of course fresh from the ocean to the table. The seasoning and other ingredients had to be straight from someone’s grandma kitchen! Oh and the drinks are nice as well 🥰. When in Freeport, please patronize this establishment!

I have patronized this establishment on many occasions over the last year or so. Every visit is just as good as my first visit. The food quality and taste remain consistent. Their smoke meats (brisket, wings, ribs, sausage, pulled chicken, pulled pork etc.) are fresh, smoked to perfection, seasoned exactly right – not salty, moist, and finger-licking good 😊! The sides are some of the best sides I have tasted, especially the Kickin collard greens, roasted brussel sprouts, and Pit-smoked beans. The deviled eggs topped with pork belly and candied jalapenos is a must try. I highly recommend this establishment. Customer service is always superb!

My family and I visited this establishment for a birthday celebration. This will be a quick review. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS 😊!!! My favorite was the fried lobster tail, it was golden brown, moist, and well-seasoned. The drinks were on point and not watered down. I highly recommend this establishment, make sure to make reservations for a large group. Customer service was superb!

Restaurant: Best In The West Cocktail Bar & Jerk Chicken

Location: Negril, Jamaica

Presentation: The presentation was excellent and picture ready😊!

I visited this establishment during a quick weekend getaway to Negril. The locals recommended this establishment, they stated it was the best jerk chicken in the area. I smelled the delicious aroma of various Jamaican meats cooking on the grill when we drove up. I was not disappointed; the jerk chicken was grilled to perfection with a crunchy outside and a moist and juicy inside. It was served with moist and seasoned rice and peas, and pasta salad. I ordered the Rum Runner and had to take sips a little at a time…lol 😊. I highly recommend this small on the side of the road establishment. Customer service was superb!

During my birthday trip to San Jose, Costa Rica, we stumbled across this restaurant. I am so glad we ended up there by mistake because it was one of the best meals we ate while in Costa Rica. My family and I ordered the NY Strip Steak, chorizo sausages, garlic butter linguini, grilled vegetables, and salad. The NY Strip Steak was medium cooked, flavorful, chargrilled, and juicy. The chorizo sausages were to die for 😊, they were grilled and a little crispy on the outside with a tantalizing flavor. The garlic butter linguini was mouth-watering and delicious. The grilled vegetables were flavorful with a great texture, not too hard or soggy. I highly recommend this establishment when visiting San Jose, Costa Rica. Restaurant - Gr**go Gerry”s Ok Corral

Location - Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Cost - $$

While vacationing in Mexico, we went on the Puerto Vallarta City Tour. We were taken to this establishment for lunch. We ordered the Combo for two. It consisted of a whole Red Snapper, a lobster split in half, Maui Maui, jumbo shrimp, stuff jumbo shrimp, steak kabob, salad, rice and vegetables (not pictured). All of the meat was cooked on the grill with a delicious flavor from a special type of secret sauce they use. The fish, lobster, and shrimp were moist and juicy.

I recommend this establishment if you can find it 😊. It’s in a small town area, across the street from a calming stream of water with a huge boulder in the middle. The owner and staff were awesome, professional, and attentive.

We patronized this establishment for my daughters’ birthday brunch. We ordered the Deviled Eggs, Jerk Shrimp and Grits, and the Jerk Lamb Chop Breakfast. The egg filling was sweet with a scrumptious taste, the perfectly seasoned blackened shrimp was on point. The Jerk Shrimp and Grits - marinated shrimp over creamy grits with seared peppers and tomatoes. The jerk sauce was the real deal, spicy and literally finger licking good. The shrimp were large, fresh, and juicy; the grits were perfectly cooked (not thin or lumpy). The Jerk Lamb Chop Breakfast - three marinated lamb chops with scrambled eggs served over crispy potatoes. Again, that jerk sauce was everything 😊. The lamb chops were a good size, juicy, well-seasoned, cooked perfectly (medium) with the right amount of fat. I recommend you order the following brunch cocktails: the Harlot (Passionfruit Martini), the PYNK (Lychee Gin Gimlet), and the Housewife (Dragon fruit Vodka Martini). Two of these drinks were sweet, one was slightly sweet, all three were mouth-watering with its own unique taste and a powerful punch.

Comments: This establishment has a nice vibe with smooth R&B music playing in the background. The ambiance is calming and inviting. Our server Genesis was pleasant, charming, patient and on point with her food and drink recommendations. I highly recommend you make reservations. We patronized this establishment during my birthday trip to Curacao. We ordered the Grilled Lobster and Ribeye Steak. The Grilled Lobster consisted of a local lobster with herb butter, tomato, spring onion and thermidor sauce, served with a salad. The lobster was grilled to perfection with a succulent sweet taste. The thermidor sauce was rich and delicious with tasty juicy tomatoes. The Ribeye Steak was grilled and served with chimichurri, spring onion, jalapeno and oven potatoes. The grilled Ribeye Steak was aged, juicy, seasoned to perfection, and cooked medium rare.

Comments: The ambiance of this establishment is beautiful. It is located on the rooftop of the Harbor Hotel and Casino. It overlooks the St. Anna Bay with a clear view of the Queen Emma “Swinging Old Lady” floating pedestrian bridge which connects Willemstad’s two halves. We patronized this establishment on my birthday, the manager and staff brought me a chocolate, creamy, and delicious brownie with a candle and sang happy birthday. My daughter and I visited this establishment while in Tampa. She is still raving about the Grilled Lamb Chops (herb rubbed and char grilled), served with Basmati Rice. They were seasoned to perfection, juicy, succulent, and with the right amount of fat. Each bite melted in her mouth. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Kebab with Organic Basmati Rice. The grilled chicken was moist, well-seasoned, and tender. It literally fell apart. The Basmati Rice was fresh and moist, a perfect complement to the Lamb Chops and Chicken Kebab. Everything served is made to order and fresh 😊!

Restaurant: Tupelo Honey

Location: Arlington, VA

My youngest daughter recommended this establishment for my mom’s birthday celebration. We ordered their biscuits, fried green tomatoes, Shrimp and Grits, smothered chicken, and Tupelo’s famous fried chicken.

The Shrimp and Grits consisted of wild caught white gulf shrimp, chorizo pork sausage, peperonata, creole sauce, scallions, and heirloom grits with goat cheese. It had its own unique taste and flavor. The shrimp was fresh and moist, and the grits were cooked perfectly.

Tupelo’s famous fried chicken is a bone-in fried “forever free” chicken brined for over 18 hours. This is one of the best tasting fried chicken I have had 😊! It was hot, mouth-watering, well-seasoned with what tasted like a touch of honey. It was literally finger licking and lip-smacking good. I could eat that chicken all day...lol! It was served with crispy brussel sprouts and macaroni and cheese. The brussel sprouts were delectable, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious.

The smothered chicken (boneless and skinless, honey-dusted “forever free” fried chicken thighs, milk gravy, basil) was moist, well-seasoned, and fried perfectly. My mom ordered this dish, and she kept saying how good it was.

Restaurant: Sabroso Panama

Location: Panama City, Panama

Presentation: The presentation was excellent and picture ready 😊!

This was my first trip to Central America and it was everything I imagined 😊! I ordered the Crunchy Pork Belly with pickled onions and the Fish Fillet with Shrimps. The Pork Belly was crunchy on the outside, moist and juicy on the inside, and lightly seasoned. It was hot, delicious, and tasted similar to crackling. The fish was light and flaky with a fresh taste. It was topped with medium size fresh shrimp with a sweet taste. The coconut rice was moist and did not have an overwhelming taste of coconut. The ingredients of the salad were fresh with a sweet tasting home-made dressing.

Embera Indigenous Village - Panama

This is not a restaurant review. While visiting Panama, I took a tour to the Embera Indigenous Village. The ladies of the tribe prepared this meal for us. It is freshwater Tilapia fish and plantains. They prepared everything in front of us while we learned the history of their tribe. It was one of the best tasting fresh fried fish and plantains I’ve had in the last year. The fish was dipped in what looked like some type of meal, no seasoning was added but the fish had a wonderful and delicious taste. The plantains were cut and boiled in a pot, then mashed. The food was served in leaves with a hibiscus flower on the side.
