Here's a refreshing and romantic non-alcoholic beverage recipe that's not only delightful but also mindful of women suffering from endometriosis: 🍹

Berry Bliss Mocktail 🍓🍇

Ingredients:

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
1/4 cup fresh raspberries
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Here are a few potential experiences following excision surgery. Despite being labeled “less invasive”, it remains a major surgery. Everyone’s recovery and pain levels vary, but it’s crucial to rest and take care of yourself, as your body has endured a lot. I found trapped gas pain particularly challenging. Drinking Fennel tea was the best tip I received as I found it worked better to relive gas than peppermint tea. I highly recommend it for anyone undergoing surgery!

Here's a recipe for a breakfast shot that's packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients, specifically designed to support women with endometriosis.

Endometriosis Breakfast Shot

Ingredients:

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tsp of turmeric powder
1/2 inch fresh ginger root, peeled and grated
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tbsp of flaxseed oil
1/2 lime, juiced
1 tsp of raw honey (optional for sweetness)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Base: Start by pouring the almond milk into a blender. Almond milk is a great anti-inflammatory and low-calorie base.

2. Add Superfoods: Add chia seeds and flaxseed oil. Chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are well-known anti-inflammatory agents, while flaxseed oil is rich in lignans and healthy fats that may help reduce inflammation.

3. Incorporate Spices: Add the turmeric powder and freshly grated ginger to the blender. Turmeric contains curcumin, famous for its anti-inflammatory properties. Ginger also has natural anti-inflammatory effects.

4. Enhance Absorption: Add the black pepper. This helps increase the absorption of curcumin from the turmeric, thereby enhancing its benefits.

5. Flavor and Sweeten: Add cinnamon for flavor and blood sugar regulation. Optionally, include raw honey to sweeten the shot naturally.

6. Add a Citrus Kick: Squeeze in the juice from half a lime. The lime not only adds vitamin C but also a refreshing tang.

7. Blend: Blend all the ingredients on high speed until smooth and well-combined.

8. Serve: Pour the shot into a small glass and enjoy immediately to benefit from the freshness of the ingredients.

Notes:

It's best to drink this shot on an empty stomach in the morning to maximize the absorption of the nutrients.
If you have a medical condition or are on medication, especially for endometriosis, check with your doctor before making any significant dietary changes.
