I’m Wayde Anderson Jr., a 28-year-old Able Seaman in the Royal Bahamas Defence Force. After two major spine surgeries following an injury on duty, I’m now in urgent need of a third surgery to regain my health. The surgery, initially scheduled for August 27th, was delayed due to a lack of government authorization. It’s now rescheduled for October 29th, but I’m unsure if the government will cover the costs in time.
