CCS Club CNR, WANGDUE-LOBESA based Y-VIA and Entertainment Club (CNR) is organising a fund raising show at Khuruthang Institute of Electrical Engineering. The program is focused on generating fund for a child named Kala Tiwari who is currently admitted at Bajo Hospital. He is a victim of a chronic heart ailment. All the funds generated will be donated to the family for use during his referral to India for further medication. Come join and contribute your support for the family.
One can only think how hard it may become for a lone bread earner, Anand Tiwari(victim's father) to meet the expenses and to look after the child's medication needs. If some of us were in his place we would have given up to this adversity.
But unlike us, Anand Tiwari, took to him, all the responsibility to give this child a hope to see his life in blossom. He took credits from the known. Borrowed money, to spend for referral, time and again between Bajo and Thimphu.
This has brought untold misery to the family.
So for this we took it our initiative for we believe happiness is for us all.
So, heartfully we would like to thank you all for the generosity.

“If you are not able to manage and throw your waste in proper place, please don’t throw it down the slope, keep it besides the road so that it is convenient for me to pick it up and throw it in a proper place,” Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay said picking up the garbage on his way to office from his residence in Taba this morning.

Along the way Lyonchhen, Aum Tashi Doma and few staff from Cabinet and Prime Minister’s Office collected one Hilux full of garbage consisting of baby diapers, pads, bottles, household items, plastics etc.

Acknowledging the effort of Thromde and media to curb this bad habit, Lyonchhen said that people don’t like thrash in their homes but don’t hesitates to throw it in open space. “If this is the mentality of our people, how are we going to keep our capital city clean,” Lyonchhen added.
