Today, we had the honor of performing the Salang Tendrel (groundbreaking ceremony) for the construction of the esteemed Sangay Menlha and Ugyen menlha Phodrang. We are pleased to announce that construction will commence tomorrow, with completion anticipated by November.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the donors and well-wishers whose generosity and support have transformed this vision into a reality.

Mock Drill on Flash Flood Disaster Preparedness.

This mock drill was conducted with the assistance of the Emergency Medical Services Division under the Ministry of Health.

We extend our gratitude to the principal and faculty of Gomdar Higher Secondary School, the ADMO of Gomdar Gewog administration, the armed force personnel, and the De-Suung administration for their unwavering support for this event. We also thank the students of Class 9B of Gomdar Higher Secondary School for their exemplary performance. We look forward to your continued support in the coming year.

We are confident that such mock drill will enhance our health response capabilities in times of disaster and contribute to building a resilient community.

24 March is World Tuberculosis Day.
Each year we commemorate World TB Day to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of tuberculosis (TB) and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic.

The date marks the day in 1882 when Dr. Robert Koch announced that he had discovered the bacterium that causes TB, which opened the way towards diagnosing and curing this disease.

75 million lives saved since 2000 by global efforts to end TB.
10.6 million people fell ill with TB in 2022.
1.3 million people died of TB in 2022.

Safe delivery and prompt management of an unwell newborn all depends on your clinical experience which is enhanced by CMEs and conducting drills on a regular basis.

20th May was a fruitful day indeed. We successfully conducted the refresher course and mock drill on Early essential newborn Care (EENC) to our nurse colleagues.

Thank you Reproductive, maternal and neonatal health program for initiating this training program in our country and issuing us the MamaNatalie. We are happy to share that this activity is now a part of our individual work plan.
