A bittersweet moment unfolded at Ypeer FNPH, and what made it even more special was that the event was gracefully initiated by the outgoing senior cores themselves. To honor the occasion, Acho Palden, the former Ypeer focal of Bhutan, personally presented the badges and khadar to the former vice core members, who now officially take over as core members. The session was both sad and joyful—sad to see our seniors step down from their responsibilities, but happy to welcome the new leaders rising into their roles. We thank the outgoing team for their thoughtful leadership and warmly welcome the new core members as they begin this exciting journey.

March 8th marks International Women’s Day, and YPEER FNPH came together to celebrate it in our own small but meaningful way. We hosted a wonderful session that began with a discussion on gender equality, highlighting the importance of empowering and uplifting women in our communities. This was followed by a series of engaging and interactive activities such as the Power Walk, which helped participants understand different social perspectives, and a heartfelt activity where members wrote letters of appreciation to the important women in their lives.

The celebration also included an exciting Kahoot quiz that tested our knowledge about influential women around the world, along with a scenario-based advice activity where participants shared thoughtful solutions and perspectives. One of the most memorable moments was “30 Seconds of Fame” with a twist, where members spoke about the women who inspire them the most and the impact they have had on their lives.

Overall, it was a fun, meaningful, and engaging day filled with learning, reflection, and appreciation as we celebrated the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in our lives and society.

The first Y-Peer FNPH event of the semester was a wonderful blend of celebration and capacity building. 💚✨

We marked the season of love with a meaningful debriefing session, featuring insightful presentations on volunteerism, consent, and healthy relationships. It was equally special to witness the transfer of knowledge as our members shared experiences from key programs including NToT, TBT, Y-peer Meet, and Design Thinking.

The energy in the room was palpable, thanks to engaging icebreakers, lively participation, and well-deserved refreshments. Here’s to creating safe spaces and fostering peer leadership at FNPH.
