Thuto Ratau has been diagnosed with fibroids which led her to give birth prematurely mid- December 2022. She needs to undergo an operation to remove them. Available booking dates that she got at Princess Marina are in September which is quite far as the progression of her illness has taken a peak. Her tummy grows each single day. However, she does not have funds to sponsor her medical bills at a private hospital in Gaborone. The family of Thuto is pleading with the community at large to help them with donations as their daughter is suffering from excruciating pain and cannot nurse and take care of her newborn child. This has affected her digestive system as she hardly eats or take liquids. She now does not have regular bowel movements as a week can pass without her using the toilet. Her health is deteriorating day after day.
