CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP ON PUBLIC PROCUREMENT
Scottish Livingstone Hospital members of staff commenced the workshop today 18th June 2025 that will finish on Friday 20th June 2025. The overall objectives of the training include amongst others;
*Employees to have knowledge and understanding of structures for operationalization of the public procurement.
*Staff who understands the roles of procuring entities and stakeholders.

QURE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) SOFTWARE DONATED TO SCOTTISH LIVINGSTONE HOSPITAL

6th May 2025

BUMMHI in collaboration with Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) donated a Qure AI software to Scottish Livingstone Hospital, radiology department. The technology will be used to detect tuberculosis (TB) effectively which will assist the clinicians to mare informed decisions and on time.
Mr Mothusi Keatlhotswe from CDC alluded that the donated software is the 9th of it's kind in the whole world.
From Ministry of Health Mr Sidney Kololo urged the clinicians to fully utilise the software, as it will assist in freeing Botswana and the Kweneng District community of TB.
Dr Chambo when welcoming appreciated the donation, mentioning that it has come to the right place as Kweneng is amongst the districts highly impacted by TB.

REST IN PEACE DR🙏🙏🙏

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved paediatrician, Dr. Kinetsew M. Jembere, who was based in Mahalapye District Hospital. He tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident (RTA) on the night of 4th May 2025.
Dr. Kinetsew was a dedicated and compassionate doctor who made a lasting impact on the lives of many children and families in our community.

Sincere condolences to his wife and kids, Mahalapye District Hospital staff and the community at large.
May his soul rest in peace.
