President ASSIMI GOÏTA said the below message during a meeting on Monday when he got questioned about elections in Mali...
His Excellency Assimi Goita: ✍🏿 🗣️
"Until now, people have not understood that we are not here for politics, nor elections, but for the liberation of the country.
We have already sacrificed ourselves, we do not hear, we do not see and we are mute.
Those who understand our fight are enough for us and those who do not understand are obliged to follow us because we will not give up this sacred mission to free and build Africa .
We will have to be dead for this liberation to be stopped.
So whether you are a politician or something else, there is no place in this country for any individuals or entities that seeks to undermine this liberation project ...
The best thing anyone can do today for the good of us all today and for the future generations is to accompany us to the front and neutralize the enemies of our freedom and development .
I do not consider myself the president of Mali. I consider myself a soldier and a liberator, if I wanted to be president I would obey France and the West and travel around the world ,and no matter the level of my evil against Africa they would praise me and call me the best and most democratic president as long as i choose to be their puppet,just like the presidents of most African countries who have presided over their countries for decades but since they chose to serve the ignoble European imperialists at the expense of their own country and the people so they have no problem with these presidents violating the constitution of their countries again and again.
go and look at the life of a president and come compare it to mine.
As long as this country and the whole of Africa is not liberated, anyone who tries anything that will not be good for the country, you will have to deal with justice.
Moreover, from now on, anyone who disturbs this fight, whatever your age, you will go to military training.
I have already sworn to liberate this country, our ancestors, the people and the whole of Africa are counting on me and my companions.
Often, I ask myself the question, especially to those who talk about elections, to know, who do you see capable of leading Mali in conditions like this?
