Hey there!
I figured I’d start off with quick intro on the face behind Mellow Yellow Massage Co.!
Catherine graduated from MRU’s 2200 Hour Program with a Diploma in Massage Therapy in the Spring of 2022. After excelling in her program, she is excited to finally begin providing relief to patients using the knowledge she learned in school and through her athletic training.
From a young age, she participated in a local Track and Field program Airdrie Aces Athletics and competed for several years. Her passion for the sport eventually drove her curiosity to learn more about the human body and the different ways that therapy can improve the conditions of it.
With the desire to continue learning more about human anatomy she took another course in October 2023, adding static and dynamic cupping into her toolset. Already having chosen her next few courses she is very excited to be putting all that work to good use and to continue with plans of expanding her knowledge base.
Outside of work Catherine can be found hiking, playing video games and interacting with her creative side, engaging in activities like painting, crochet and playing the guitar. Whilst also ensuring there is plenty of time left to hangout with her pup (she’d call him her son), Diesel. She gives all of herself to everything that she does and she cannot wait to share that with all of you!
