We invite you to a special presentation featuring two inspiring youth from District 6400 — Liv and Asher — who were selected to represent our district at the 2025 Youth to Youth program in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.
Youth to Youth, an initiative by Honouring Indigenous Peoples (HIP), brings together 25 Indigenous and 25 non-Indigenous youth (ages 15–17) from across Canada. Over the course of a week, participants engage in immersive cultural activities, meaningful dialogue, and shared learning to deepen their understanding of Indigenous traditions, history, and reconciliation. This transformative experience is made possible thanks to collaboration of Rotarians from 18 districts across Canada and Indigenous peoples.
Liv and Asher will share how their experience impacted their perspectives, inspired personal growth, and strengthened their commitment to reconciliation and community leadership.
📅 Date: Wednesday August 20, 2025
🕓 Time: 7:00 pm
📍 Location/Zoom Link: McGregor Community Centre
9571 Walker Road, McGregor
In addition, HIP Board Member Suzanne Grouette (member of Windsor Club of Rotary-W.I.D.E.), is the Rotary Chair of Youth to Youth 2026. She will be in attendance to give us a sneak peak of the planning for this event which will be relatively close to home.
This is a great opportunity to witness the powerful outcomes of a program Rotary proudly supports.
We hope you’ll join us!
