This week we celebrate our Sonographers.

An ultrasound is often associated with mothers-to-be but a Sonographers expertise and responsibility is much broader and more diverse, with rapid advancements that are supporting the delivery of care around the world.

Aylmer Ultrasound strives daily to put our patients first, demonstrate compassion and professionalism, and provide high quality care to our community. For these contributions, and so many more, we pay tribute to our sonographers during national sonography week.

1992: The first McDonalds opens in China, Wayne's World debuts at the box office, Windows 3.1 is released, and ....Aylmer Ultrasound opened for business!! That's 30 years ago. They say time flies when you're having fun, and this has been quite a ride. We are grateful to our loyal physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners, and you, our patients. For trusting in our care and for recommending us to your friends and family. Cheers to another 30!

To commemorate International Women's Day, we present to you our all-female team. Owned, operated and staffed by these ladies, who each provide a wealth of knowledge, skill, expertise and wisdom. Over 80% of our patients are women, and women make up the majority of clerical workers and sonographers (ultrasound technologists). Here's to rockin' it every day and keeping the healthcare world turning!

It truly is a special feeling to see the joy that this simple gesture brings, and in the event of early pregnancy loss, it can bring much needed healing.
