Love Song has been feeling great lately. She's come so far in the last year. She's learning to trust again, to feel safe again, and to be able to express herself. It's so nice to see her feeling good, feeling more confident, and being excited to try new things. But she didn't get here on her own. She has a village of amazing people standing by her side and supporting her along the way.

Here, you can see her showing love for her favorite farrier, , and her osteopath . She's also grateful for her equibow with , amazing vets , her animal communicator and nutritionist , and her soon to be favourite trainer . Of course, found Love Song and helped connect her with us, her forever home, for which we are so so grateful. And probably most of all, we're so grateful for and John who go above and beyond in treating her like an absolute princess and taking the most amazing care of her every single day. She also has her amazing herd, her bestest friend Abby, and Zara, Mica and Breezy.

Moral of the story - our ability to thrive largely depends on the company that we keep, so find your village. The people who listen with more than their ears, the ones who read between the lines, the ones who respect when you need time patience or space, spend time with you when you need a friend, and forgive you when you make mistakes. Find the people who show up for you when you need them, and even when you don't, just because they care. The ones who check in, who make sure you get home safe, and who enjoy spending time with you just because. And once you find them, don't let them go. Show your gratitude and reciprocate the love and support that they offer you.

The time of year can be tough. The days are short and it gets dark sooo early! Today is the shortest day of the year. I always look a little bit forward to today because of the relief I feel when the sun starts to come out a little bit longer each day moving forward. We still have some dark days ahead of us, but the light is coming. Take good care of you and stay warm. ❤️ ❄️

Miss Love Song was on the lookout for her herd tonight. There was a family doing a photoshoot on top of the hill and she had to ensure her sisters were safe. She watched attentively until the photoshop was over and the family left.
