The 2 of Wands in the Tarot represented a point of anxiety for the Fool, as he wondered out loud which of his visions would manifest into success. We see this anxiety dissipate in the 3 of Wands, a banquet of optimism rushing in to replace that dual-sided stress. On this card, one bounteous Wand is planted firmly behind while the figure holds another Wand, and has one looking ahead to the future. This can be manifested as success in love, work, or even in a family matter.

This is often considered a "ships coming in" card, and represents Jupiter's optimism and luck in readings. But it's not all about luck. The man on this Tarot card has prepared for the enterprising adventure he wishes to take, which is where the anxiety came from in the card previous. Now, he is planning to launch his new adventure and is distributing his resources accordingly. He is also taking a little bit of a gamble here, but it's an optimistic one.

At the same time, he is leading the way to his success. If you see the 3 of Wands, know that an action you have taken or are about to take is going to lead to your ship into the harbor in the very near future!

The Sun often represents travel as well, so after a travel period could also be the time answer when The Sun card appears. But overall, when the Sun appears in your Tarot reading, you are being sent one of the most positive answers from the Tarot. It almost always, unless reversed, represents an inexplicable YES to your question.

We see a free-spirited and naked boy on the white horse of purity, both with joyous and abundant looks on their faces. The Sun is shining. Something new or a new phase is on the horizon. A birth or pregnancy could be announced, or you may experience a new chapter in a relationship or job. You are content with how things are progressing. The Sun card sends the message that you have every reason to be optimistic and enthusiastic about the situation at hand.

Not the best card for me today. But I have been sick for a couple days!

The 9 of Swords gives us both literal and metaphorical symbolism. This is one of the darkest cards in the Tarot, and this imagery appearing in your reading can be upsetting on it's own. If you see the 9 of Swords and are asking the Tarot about a stressful situation, this card may not exactly be news to you. You may be feeling so much stress on love, work, money, or a life situation that you can't sleep at night. Migraines, insomnia, and worry ridden evenings are what this card is telling you about. It could be you up at night trapped in despair and grief, or someone else may be worried about you.

The 9 of Swords could be signaling some poor health, or it may just be sending a message you are in desperate need of some rest and healing. Again we need to remember that swords embody thoughts, and sometimes we are up so late many nights in a row because we are trapped in our mind with worry and stress. The 9 of Swords can signal mental struggle or strain often caused by experiencing these nights too frequently.

The one positive note in this card is the yellow quilting, which implies there is more comfort and warmth in your life than you may currently realize. As dark as this may feel, 9's in the Tarot are signaling you are nearing the end of a cycle, and so this too shall pass when you take care of your health, your rest, and work to free yourself from stress or negative thoughts.

Noticed my dog chewing his arse end off. It's that time of year. Hot spots from allergies! So what do you do as a witch? You find yourself in the kitchen concocting a hot spot lotion! Hopefully he gets some relief!

I actually get this card a lot!

This is a time where meditation and depth of prayer are more important for you than anything else. This is not something you should hem and haw about. The 4 of Swords appears when the Universe is sending you a very serious message. Some downtime is not just recommended, the Universe may bring it your way one way or another. 😬

Universe is sending a message that you need to sleep on your problems and not act on them right now. In any event, it's time for some downtime, with spiritual solace.
