Did you know that by the time we reach the age of 30 the natural production of collagen in our skin has dropped drastically! When that happens, the natural fibers (or ‘glue’) begin to weaken and the skin gets drier. I have used lots of shaker bottles and this one is definately my favourite!

I'm all about making life easier in the kitchen so gift #10 on "My Favourite Things List" does just that. Crock pots have come a long way and are great at making it that much easier to cook a healthy meal when you are short on time. This is the one I have (I received it as a gift a few months ago) from Costco, it has a digital timer that counts down and only costs $49.99. I love cooking a whole chicken in mine and then simmering a bone broth (a good source of minerals) in it for 24 hours. With cold and flu season upon us it's a great way to make homemade chicken soup!
