Yes yes yes yes yes!
Folic acid didn’t exist on planet Earth until humans decided to try and mimic the folate nature provided.
Boy did we fail.
Folic acid is close to correct but it’s wrong.
The key to unlock my door is close to being able to unlock your door - but … it can’t.
Don’t take Folic Acid. Ever.
Use
- Folinic Acid: supports energy, neurotransmitters, red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, fetal development, DNA base production
- Methylfolate: supports homocysteine metabolism, nitric oxide levels, fetal development
You can use both forms or just one of them. I prefer using both as they have different jobs.
Prenatal vitamins usually use Folic Acid. More aware companies use Methylfolate. Hardly any use the combination of both Folinic acid and Methylfolate.
I was the first to ever provide this combination in a prenatal vitamin way back in 2012.
Optimal Prenatal has supported women and future generations for over a decade.
Support a healthy pregnancy the most comprehensive way possible by using Optimal Prenatal (8 caps per serving)
