Soulful Sunday.
If you have been following along with me since the summer.
I have been putting my focus on healing, by improving my mental health by doing following:
1st. Improving my gut health by letting go of emotional eating, and drinking.
This is important because our gut is connected to the brain by the enteric nervous system (ENS). The ENS is also known as our second brain. Which has trillions of microorganisms that influence the millions of neurons in our gut that communicate with our brain.
Put Simply: Poor eating. Poor gut. Poor Mental Health.
2nd. Increasing Regular Strength Training.
This is important for everyone, but especially people over the age of 40 (Shush, don’t tell anyone I am over 40 ;) because we lose 3-8 % muscle mass a year. YIKES!
Put Simply: Decreasing muscle mass leads to => Increased fat, weight gain and a decreased metabolism. Which leads to => Decreased energy, bone, mental health, balance. Therefore you are more likely to have increased falls, and broken bones. Then eventually, chronic diseases .
3rd. Making conscious, unconscious negative thinking patterns that were bringing me down. I did this by focusing on the positive feedback thinking that helps healing.
This is important because our beliefs, and thoughts trigger feedback loops in our body that turn on the DNA that serves or doesn’t serve us. You may think I am HOAKY when I say this, but science has been proving this over and over again for a number of years now. Ever heard of the Placebo Effect? Ya, that's our beliefs and thoughts, at work.
Put Simply: Belief and Thoughts become THINGS.
Why am I sharing this with you?
Because of Nikola Tesla’s quote.
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”
In this day and age, of information and learning. It's really no longer a secret.
If you want to make changes to end pain, and suffering in your body.
You need to take control of your energy, frequency and vibration of yourself by focusing on the TRIFECTA of your Gut, Body, and Mind!
Is it going to be easy?
No. But think about anything good or great you have done in your life. It has not been easy, but the reward HAS ALWAYS been WORTH WAY more than discomfort of the work you have put it.
