The MRGCA Fundraising Event held in Montreal on January 31, 2026, was a great success thanks to the dedication of our hardworking volunteers and the generosity of those who believed in our mission to provide medical aid to underserved hospitals and clinics in Lebanon. We extend our sincere thanks to MP Fayçal El-Khoury and MP Ziad Aboultaif who honoured us with their presence and everyone who attended, donated, and supported this event in any way.

Representatives of the Medical Relief Group Canada (MRGCA) paid a courtesy visit to the Lebanese Embassy to extend their congratulations to His Excellency Ambassador Tawk on his appointment as Lebanon’s Ambassador to Canada.

The delegation expressed its appreciation for the gracious reception and the productive discussions that took place. Ambassador Tawk showed strong interest in the work of MRGCA, particularly its efforts to reinforce community engagement, promote Lebanon’s values internationally, and provide support to underserved hospitals and communities in Lebanon.

His Excellency further conveyed his commitment to supporting MRGCA’s future initiatives and to strengthening cooperation between the Embassy and our Organization.

As part of our ongoing efforts to complete the final phase of our hospital shipments, members of the MRGCA Executive Committee on the ground in Lebanon successfully transferred a heart machine (l’appareil à circulation extracorporelle) from Al Iman Hospital to Rashaya Hospital in August 2025.

We also held a productive meeting in the presence of MP Ziad Aboultaif and the Rashaya Hospital management team, who expressed their sincere gratitude to MRGCA for our continued support and contributions to the healthcare system in Lebanon.

Lebanon’s medical system is in crisis, and the Medical Relief Group Canada (MRGCA) is taking action. Your donations can help us save lives.

MRGCA is bridging the gap in medical care by collaborating with organizations in Canada to provide donated trusted aid to underserved hospitals and clinics across Lebanon. In the last few years, we sent two shipments of essential medical equipment and supplies to hospitals, as well as providing medications to clinics. But there is still so much more to do, so please consider donating today.
