Lip lines (also referred to as smoker lines) are a common concern for many clients.

๐Ÿ’› As people age, their skin loses collagen and elastin, leading to wrinkles and fine lines, including around the lips. They are referred to as smokers lines because the repetitive motion of smoking and the harmful chemicals in ci******es contribute to the development of lip lines. However, as we all know, not everyone that has lip lines are smokers. Some people are more genetically predisposed to developing wrinkles, including around the lips. Repeated facial expressions, such as pursing the lips, can lead to the formation of lip lines over time.

๐Ÿ’› This client wanted to keep her treatment as natural as possible and did not want to focus on plumping her lip and I believe we did just that. The focus was to fill in those fine lines above the lip. A small amount of filler was also placed directly in the lip to provide support and structure.
