Yes, this is me today....happy, proud and honored to be part of our City Planning and Advisory Committee. This is my 3rd year and I'm still learning every month. Thank you Mayor for the appointment. Looking forward to more homes getting built for our City. Super excited about the new Habitat for Hunanity housing units with daycare within a stones throw!!

P.s. Planning Advisory deals with rezoning of lands for building project. No, we are not responsible for traffic camers...that's The Transportation/Traffic Committee. 😉

Mayor Neil Ellis is on a win....
Today, Mayor Ellis appreciated City Staff, City Council Members, and Committee Members in a beautiful evening filled with exquisite food and good hearted people. I am always amazing at the gifted and passionate people we have in our City. Working to make improvements each year. Belleville is filled with committed citizens indeed.
Mayor Ellis spoke about how appreciative he was for Staff, Council & Volunteers and described us as family working together. Cheers to that.
As a City Planning Advisory Committee member, I've been grateful at the opportunity to serve on an influential committee. Again, I am amazed at the wealth of knowledge that Members have.
Tonight, at the appreciation, I was thankful to sit with many Committee members over lovely food and learn more about current issues and obstacles to housing growth. Staff and Council are working hard to solve the issues surrounding affordable housing along with our Mayor.....and I could not be more proud.
Shout out to Barn and Country Catering....Erin and Ebony, you gals are amazing ( with lil bro) !! The brisket melted in my mouth with that aoli sauce- wow!! Literally the best in town at what you do.
Was sorry I had to leave early. (Had youth group tonight and I was bringing the snacks lol)

This fabulous group of faces are some of the cast of the upcoming performance of The Sound Of Music. Check out the captivating picture snapped at rehearsal this week of Maria and Mother Abess. Best part of rehearsal this week was having to stop because Sister Margeretta had the Director and Nuns in stitches from her performance. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Grateful this Musical has given me the space and room to bring a character to life, use my voice again, and stay and artistically fit. Perfect season to be in voice and breathe classes as well.

Looking forward to being back in Council Chambers tonight for our City's Planning Advisory Committee.

So many accomplishments for 2023, including the approving of numerous rezonings to residential use to create more housing, approving rezoning for a new medical centre that will attract more physicians to the area, and being part of the process to our city's updated bi-law. The Committee welcomed me warmly and patiently as I learned the ropes.
Thankful for being appointed by the Mayor and Thankful to Matt our City Clerk for letting me steal his chair each month and learn the secret sanctums of that particular spot holds ;)
2024.....looking forward to more being accomplished.

Beautiful Saturday to be at the New Life Women's Home Grand Opening and ribbon cutting on Saturday. They will be a blessing to our community. New Life Women's Home is a place where women with life controlling problems/ addictions can go for a 12 month program.
