GROUNDING:
Grounding is a very simple way of explaining how the earth affects us on a cellular level.
The earth carries a natural negative charge. With direct skin contact to the soil, grass, sand, stone, or even the bark of a tree, electrons can transfer into the body, helping neutralize free radicals linked to inflammation.
Emerging research suggests grounding may support:
• reduced inflammation
• improved sleep
• lower cortisol and stress levels
• improved heart rate variability (nervous system balance)
In winter, it may not look like bare feet in the grass. It may look like your palm resting against a tree.
Your back leaning into steady bark.
A quiet breath beneath white branches. The sun warming your skin.
Do you ground regularly?
