I was asked to help out a friend who had her cake cancelled last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. I don’t do cakes often but wanted to try my best to help! A simple marble cake with vanilla buttercream. It turned out decent and I am glad I was able to get them some sort of cake for the celebration!

Good morning everyone! Some people have asked about storage of cookies until Christmas or longer. Here are the options:
1. Room temperature, they are good for 3ish weeks at room temperature. I have had people keep them longer and they are just as good, but I have to say 3 weeks as that’s the information I have 🙂 they are individually sealed which helps extend that freshness 🙂
2. Freezer; wrap the entire box in Saran Wrap, or put the cookies into freezer bags and put in the freezer. To thaw, LEAVE THEM WRAPPED/IN THE BAG at room temperature and once they thaw you can take them out. Keeping them wrapped helps prevent any moisture from getting in and ruining the icing. Being individually sealed helps prevent this, but I’m always extra cautious!
